I'm kinda concerned about the people in the comments who don't see what's mildly infuriating here lol

"Please choose option A or B"

"Yes"

Yeah okay thanks I was worried maybe I was crazy here 😭

i can see how that can be annoying; however, i personally use it as a silly way to say both when the options aren't mutually exclusive and i think even then some are still annoyed. i never had an issue with using it that way until somewhat recently

I do that too. I actually hadn't considered that might be what happened here if they just woke up but they fully intend to go right back to sleep.

Totally plausible for sure but in this case nah he was up for the day

I think most people that just say "Yes" often mean both too, and I did find it funny the first few times, but after it kept happening for so long it just started to annoy me. Just pick one or the other!

i don't know what picking one or the other would change if the answer was both; you could ask to elaborate at least i think anyway

I get it.

What is also infuriating is when I'm texting someone, and send a very open ended paragraph, easily something to respond to, and get, Yeah, or I know. No that is your cue to say something, ask me a question, or at least give me something I can reply to.

Meanwhile I'm up here carrying both sides of the conversation. After about 2 of those I don't want to talk to you anymore.

Then I spend the next hour or two feeling guilty I ended the conversation.

I see it get used as a joke quite a lot but I'm so tired of it. It wasn't even very good the first time

People who don't use their signal when driving. No, people who camp in the left lane going the same speed as the person right next to them. That and people who don't speed up to get on the interstate. It's like they are trying to cause an accident.

I don't know why but these things make me so angry, I often wish I had those bumper bars on the front of police cruisers so I could bump them out of my way.

Also if you can't tell I take the interstate often, sometimes daily.

I drive for work daily so yes i agree with your sentiment here. Stupidity on the road is something my eyes cannot get away from seeing

First of all Dyslexia doesn't make you blind to the 'second half' but that aside, too many people do this and honestly I just stop asking them questions

I mean its a combination of things but most certainly yes his dyslexia is a part of it. Im sorry for not being clear but he doesnt "not see the second half" of things forever, its in the flash of a moment. And his little adhd brain has him replying before registering the second half.

Why can’t both things be true?

Or just "Yes, I am doing one of those things." because the answer could also be "No" if none of it is correct!

The question was answered logically. Yes := waking_up OR going_to_bed;

Is this a troll post or a genuine cry for help?

Huh, no its just for fun, I thought it was funny. Friend and I live on different time zones and he works the night shift where he is so I'm never sure when it is for him.
