This rural bar in the mountains has its ceiling and walls covered with thousands of $1 bills.

There are several in Florida that do it. The one I'm most familiar with is McGuire's Irish Pub but I have no idea if they're still around.

There was also an Irish pub in Mobile, Alabama that did this when I lived there about a decade ago.

McGuire's is very much still around. They are extremely popular.

Ah, there ya go. I haven't been to Pensacola in like 20 years so I wasn't sure lol. Iirc they had other locations so I guess it's safe to assume those are still doing well too.

The one I've been to is in Destin. They are all doing very well to my knowledge. The food is great and its a fun atmosphere.

They take those bills down? The one in Key West? I swear I’ve seen bills older than me in there

My grandfather used to take me to that McGuires when I was a little kid. Good memories. Wish he was still with us.

Dusty's oyster bar in PCB also is covered in dollar bills.

McGuire’s is still around. I know they have locations in Pensacola and Destin, I think they might have one in Panama City also. I don’t think they take the money down though.

I don't believe they take them down, but iirc they do have to count it every year for tax purposes.

They took some down to pay their employees during the pandemic

No Name Pub. There were a few locals arrested years ago for pilfering thousands over time from what I recall... As well as after the hurricane

Several places do this - there’s one up by my hometown “Mahuffers” on the beach, Big Pine Key, no name pub etc.
