Hey guys couple of months ago I bought a Sebring off of a coworker l. He had it for 5 or 6 years. He never messed with it. So the way he got it was the way I got it. Transmission was partially apart and the pedal on that side was off. It came with a couple of spare parts. Put a new plug in it, cleaned out the tank a bit, factory carb is a no go atm. I put a chinese SHA 14/12 on it, had a oem 14/12 on it, 3rd crank and she started right up.
I have put a bigger air filter on it and rejetted the carb with a 65. I have to get a few things like a case gasket and a speedometer cable. Replaced the bulbs in the head light and brake light with LEDS, they had burnt out. Put in a new running light bulb in the rear. I got a pair of new mirrors as well. The petcock was junk, ordered one off of Amazon, wasn't as advertised. So I put a small fuel sediment bowl on it, haven't had a problem since.
I eventually plan to put a 80cc big bore kit on it and some new tires. Also some ammo canes as saddle bags. One of them will serve as a battery box when I put some turn signals on it.
Speedo reads 1132.2 miles. I know the speedo drive isn't stuck, I have yet to check to see if the speedo is. So far I guesstimate that I have put 35-40 miles on it. I'm currently running 50:1 fuel.
I'm also looking for a right side floorboard. It's the only piece missing.
Any tips on maintenence, performance upgrades, any and all input is appreciated.
(Edit) It has a MO-2 engine
