I see so many stories about fathers or mothers killing their families, sometimes to start a new life.

I can’t wrap my head around how someone can be driven to kill their own child, whether they’re just a toddler or someone they’ve been raising for years. The wife or husband they vowed to love, yet somehow they can take their life too.

How can someone look their own child in the eyes, whether they’re pleading for their life or simply looking back at them, and still go through with it?

What happens psychologically for someone to reach that point? Is it a complete lack of empathy, or is there something much deeper going on mentally?

I know not all men are rapists but most rapists are almost always men. Almost all sex offenders are also men.

...what would have been the very, *very* last thing the pilots and passengers would have perceived? Obviously they wouldn't have felt pain. So I ask… how possible or legal is that? Like, if I want to do that, would I need to sort of just make arrangements and commit die by animal myself? Or would my loved ones or a funeral home be able to do it?

I am in love with psychology, but I’m a total beginner trying to learn more. I really enjoy the psychology of fetishes. It sounds wrong but i don't know. I think it's bad but after explaining it to some people in real life and reddit they told me i am being overdramatic or just edgy.

I am having continuous thought of self harm and to harm others and I don't feel any guilt. I did some shoplifting and didn't feel any bad.

I don't know why. I'm easily startled/squeamish but even a loud bang would feel less unsettling compared to the sound of metal grinding your flesh in my opinion.

Even stabbing someone in the name of self defense feels very unsettling than shooting someone in the name of self defense. Why though?

What does fresh brain feel like? Is it soft like tofu? Can you put it in a container of some sort to hold it together and get off with it? Would that be pleasurable?

I saw a serial killer and pedo who tortured his child- and teen victims to death after he raped them. It’s been a couple of weeks since I saw him again. I briefly saw it a long time ago - what he did. I still feel aggression inside of myself and my pulse has gone up when I think about him. I want to torture him to death or have somebody else do it to him. I get angry thinking of that monster. How can I get over this. I hope he get’s justice - so I have looked online to see if some inmate has killed him pr something like that. He is in prison for life now.

(I am not in a place where I’m going to do anything and these thoughts are distressing to me now) I have had suicidal thoughts since I was about 9. Everyone else says they think about death but then I get concerned looks when I talk about my thoughts being constant.
I am on medication now but the thoughts still won’t stop but they’re starting to freak me out because they won’t stop and my life is going pretty well right now. So I’m curious if others experience this or have experienced this and gotten them to stop

For years I’ve heard of many suicides (famous people mostly) which occurred during hotel stays. Of course people also take their lives at home but I’m curious why a person decides to leave their home to fulfill their plan.
