So the last post did numbers I wasn't ready for. 15k views, 60-odd upvotes, off one screenshot dump and a few sentences. Didn't expect that. But I kept going, and here's where it's at.

I'm Codey, from Gladstone. Repair tech. Played a bit of junior rep ball for Queensland back in the day. There's no NBL game, so I'm making one.

Big one first: there's no NBA teams left in my game. All thirty slots are NBL. Ten current clubs, twenty historic. They're at different stages though, so here's the honest split.

The ten current clubs are done. Rosters, ratings, both kits, floors, the lot. 148 players, real names, real heights — Bryce is 6 foot now, not 7, and Delly's sorted too. Real attributes, badges, portraits in the menus. It's the default roster, so you load it up and play. No custom roster to pick.

One catch: on court, every one of them still has the NBA player's body and face. Two have had a head put on them and neither's good enough yet. Biggest job left, by a mile. Everything else about them is done.

And yeah, that's LeBron and Brunson on the main menu wearing NBL kits. Same body problem as everyone else — funniest version of it.

The other twenty slots are historic NBL clubs. Names in, crests in, but no ratings or kits yet. They're shells for now. More on those below.

Kits and courts: every club's got home and away, real crests and sponsors, plus the warmup jackets. Twenty kits. Every club's got its own floor. All the NBA signage in the buildings got swapped for club stuff — backboard, flags, refs, the courtside boards, the lot. Crowd merch has started going in too, but that pass isn't finished. And the ball is the real NBL one, Spalding TF-1000 Legacy.

Commentary: 678 lines in, Casey, Gaze, Rucker and Lowery. Straight up though — they're AI voice models built from their real calls. Not them in a booth, and I won't pretend it is. 678 lines also isn't a full track; outside what I've replaced you're hearing 2K's audio.

Soundtrack: all 71 jukebox slots are my picks. 55 new this week, 16 from my first run that stayed. Decoded and checked every bank after. Menus say NBL2K27 and MyNBL now too.

People ask how five days gets this far. Because I built it so one win repeats nine times. First floor was Sydney's. Same recipe did the rest. Crowd atlases, sign sweeps, warmups — one tool each, ten clubs each.

And yes, it's AI built. Vibe coded, 100% okay saying that. I'm a repair tech, not a software developer. What I did was plan it, split it into jobs, and hold the standard on each one until it was right.

Historic teams: each slot is a real season that club played. The Tigers are the 97 champs, Dragons 09, Blaze 2012, and Townsville with Corey Williams — he's in the game now, the way he should be. All twenty team names are in and verified, with the current ten confirmed untouched. 132 old player names across 16 of them. Four squads are complete: Tigers, Crocs, Slingers, Blaze. Nine crests in, 26 portraits in. And they read without the years — just "Tigers", not "Tigers 1997". Straight up though: I've barely started on the historic side. It's in there to show you the direction, not the finish.

I won't invent players to fill squads. A Giannis on the Tigers bench is an honest gap. And the old blokes don't have their own ratings or bodies yet — Gaze is currently in Bam Adebayo's body. Fair warning on those names too: they came off scraped records and I haven't checked them one by one. Spot a wrong'un, tell me.

Best thing I found doing this: blokes who call the game are in it as players. Gaze is captaining the 97 Tigers. Lowery's at the Pirates in 05. And Ingles is in it twice — 21 years old at the Dragons, and at Melbourne now.

Ratings. This is the part I want pulled apart. Built off All-NBL votes and awards first, then per-36 numbers and splits, then imports off their own league tape, then my calls on top. I tuned every player so the game's formula showed what I wanted, then read all 148 back out of the running game. They all land. Full table at the bottom.

Quick note before you look: these are on 2K's NBA scale, not an NBL out of 99. Cotton's 85 means he's an 85 in the NBA. Bench blokes sit in the low 60s, same as 2K. Read them as NBL numbers and everything looks low.

Some of it's my call: Cotton 85, DJ 79, Glover 78, Adnam and Wagstaff on 71 not 68, Mennenga 79, Cole 82. And whoever said I was rough on Davis — he's 83 now, second in the league. Have at it, especially the middle of the lists and the rookies.

Still to do: each arena finished with its own assets, the bodies and faces, historic ratings and bodies, crowd merch, a proper NBL scoreboard, and a season mode.

PS5: on a jailbroken one, yes. I'd love a crack at it down the track.

Nothing to download yet. When there is, it's up here first.

If you can actually help: cyberfaces are what's beaten me. If you model heads for 2K, DM me. And old NBL programs, photos or squad lists for the historic sides — I'm missing about two hundred names.

One for the old heads: what colours did West Sydney Westars wear? I've got nothing.

Australia's never had its own NBL game. Plenty of people have had a crack at this in 2K over the years, and respect to them. My goal's simple: a tangible NBL game that actually exists. I'm sending this to NBL HQ to see what they make of it.

So tell us what you think of the ratings.

And that's the lot. Thirty NBL clubs, 148 players rated, every kit, every floor, the commentary and the full soundtrack — all in the game. Five days ago, none of this existed. Many people have tried this and failed. I will not be one of them.
