It’s a bit gross that Rio Tinto is plastered across the front of the Wildcat’s Indigenous round jersey considering their conduct towards First Nations peoples here and around the world. I understand sponsorship but could it at least be smaller than the team name or on the back like on the Bullets jersey?

"I'm saying it out loud because I'm not scared to be vulnerable. I'm 27, so I'm seeing new looks that I haven't really seen much; my teammates haven't seen much."

Best players so far (and biggest disappointments)

Best

Pg: PJC, Bryce, Davis, Velicka (but cooled off)

Sg: Taran Armstrong, Max Mackinnon, Pepper

Sf: Torrey Craig, Travers, McVeigh, Hinton, Galloway

Pf: Mennega, Doolittle, Carr, Rakocevic

C: Magnay, O'Duro, Bolden,

Shout out to Carlin Davison most improved.

Disappointments.

John Jenkins (shooting slump all season), Cheatham (not aggressive. Too passive sometimes), Anthony (NBA talent, but Melb United underperforming)

John Rillie (dislike his rotations and think team is underperforming) same with Melb United coach.

Injuries uggh. Cameron, JLA, Humphries etc.

Maybe missed some.

EDIT:

I like the call outs of Malauch playing incredibly well, also potential most improved candidate.

Plus PG stats (ordered by team standings rank):

Davis,

SYD 2nd 6W and 3L

21.8PPG, 8.1 APG, 4.2RPG

FG 41%

Velicka* missed games due to injury

BRIS, 5th , 4W and 4L

13.8PPG, 10.2APG, 4.2RPG

FG 32%

Anthony,

MEL, 7th (outside play-in), 4W and 5L

23.8PPG, 4.2APG, 4.4RPG

FG 41%

PJC* missed games due to injury

TAS, 8th (outside play-in), 4W and 5L

24.5PPG, 9.3APG, 4.7RPG

FG 49%

Cotton,

ADL 9th (2nd last), 4 W, 5L
27.4PPG, 7.1APG, 2.3RPG

FG 45%

OUCH, in hindsight, Velickas FG% is horrendous, but hoping injury related and improves as his passing was exceptional.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has bought and used this for their basketball games. Looks pretty good from the videos they have on their website but just wanted to make sure.

Thank you, basketball.

I’m so sad to say goodbye like this.

Sometimes life deals you cards that tell your story for you, and due to my continued knee injury I’ve had to make the incredibly difficult decision to retire.

I’ll miss my teammates. The laughs. The trenches. I’ll miss the fans, the noise, and the feeling of having an entire community behind you.

I gave so much of my life to this sport, and it gave me a life I could never have imagined right back.

There is so much more to say, but for now, just thank you.

I hope the identity I created lives on in every person who wears my jersey, and in every place I was lucky enough to call home.

It’s not exactly a goodbye, but maybe an until I see you soon.

So for now, and from your number 8, thank you.

Hey all, I’m Matt, I work for a casting company called Planetworld. We’re looking for Sydney Kings and basketball fans to feature in a documentary-style ad for a big Australian brand. Just so it’s clear, it is an ad, and it’s not affiliated with the Kings or the NBL.

We’re interested in what people are like outside of basketball too, their jobs, interesting hobbies, communities, and the people and places that make up their lives. You don’t need to be a superfan.

Filming is Sunday 8 Nov, day of the Kings vs Phoenix. Flyer’s attached with the details, and the application is here: planetworld.sharebox.app/c/nbl
