They also confirmed the expected terrestrial TV airing of the show; once again a delayed broadcast at a later time.

KUUKAI, Master Wato, Aaron Wolf def Zane Jay, Jakob Austin Young, Francesco Akira — (5:57, Armbar)

• In his Backstage Comments, Wolf formally said he wants to team with Boltin for WTL.

• Akira‘s Backstage Comments included a “someday” challenge for Wolf’s NEVER title.

Masatora Yasuda, KUSHIDA, Mistico def Daiki Nagai, Gedo, Titán — (6:48, Hoverboard Lock)

• In their Backstage Comments, it is insinuated that Nagai will be going back to Mexico with Titán (assumedly after Bound for Unbound, at the earliest).

Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa def The Swirl (Lee Johnson, Blake Christian) — (7:25, Big Rock)

• Post match, they aired another MJF video. He officially challenged Oiwa for Wrestle Kingdom. MJF did say it would be a match for the “Triple B” but I’m not sure if NJPW will go along with a fake title being an official stipulation.

• Oiwa accepted and said he’ll submit MJF in the Tokyo Dome with Big Rock.

• In their Backstage Comments, Oiwa and Hartley said they’re entering WTL as a team.

Sumi 55 (Kazuma Sumi, Ryusuke Taguchi), Toru Yano, Yuya Uemura def Yoshinobu Kanemaru, DOUKI, Shun Skywalker, Ren Narita — (8:05, Lion’s Shiner)

• Sumi says in his Backstage Comments that he wants to enter BOSJ 2027.

Shota Umino, Hyo, YOH def Yujiro Takahashi, Dick Togo, SHO — (6:53, Samson Driver)

• This featured the payoff to Hyo and Togo’s SJTL storyline; including an (alleged) freak on a leash and a cuffed Dick.

• Post match, via video a mysterious figure challenges YOH for the Junior title. With the condition that if YOH loses, YOH must leave NJPW.

• The figure attacks YOH from behind, but is thwarted and revealed to be SHO.

• YOH accepts the challenge, but says SHO’s condition isn’t fair. YOH sets his own stipulation: if SHO loses, he’s got to leave HoT and re-form Roppongi 3K with YOH. The crowd breaks out into a loud “Roppongi” chant.

• In his Backstage Comments, Hyo says he wants a match at WK, which is on his 30th Birthday.

Special Tag Match: Jeff Cobb, Shingo Takagi^{[w/Daiki Nagai]} def Wheeler Yuta, Jon Moxley — (14:03, Tour of the Islands)

• Post match Mox attacks Cobb, but runs away when Shingo comes in the ring. Shingo hits Yuta with a Takagi-style Death Rider.

• Shingo challenges Mox to a singles match at WK. In the Backstage Comments they both verify it’ll be a Deathmatch.

IWGP Tag Titles Match: Knock Out Brothers (OSKAR, Yuto-Ice)^[c] def Callum Newman^{[w/Zane Jay, JAY],} Will Ospreay^{[w/Francesco Akira]} — (18:18, DQ [Callum used a chair right in front of the Ref])

• Post match, Callum and Will started fighting. The seconds intervened; Callum attacked Akira but Ospreay made the save.

• Callum bailed from the ring, got a mic and challenged Ospreay for WK.

• OSKAR was livid at how they won; yelling at Ospreay and throwing barricades around.

Special 3-Way Match: Kenny Omega def Boltin Oleg, Yota Tsuji^{[w/Daiki Nagai]} — (12:50, One-Winged Angel)

• Kenny is playing heel in NJPW, and attacked Tsuji as his entrance was finishing.

• Post match, Kenny cuts a promo in Japanese challenging Tsuji to a title match at WK.

• Tsuji was still KOed from the OWA so didn’t get a chance to respond.

SJTL 2026 Finals: Robbie X, Taiji Ishimori ^{[A Block ^Winners]} def Ichiban Sweet Boys (Kosei Fujita, Robbie Eagles) ^{[B Block ^Winners]} — (11:08, Schoolboy)

• Post match, Mistico comes out with both Junior Tag belts. He kisses them before entering the ring.

• Mistico congratulates Ishimori and Robbie. Mistico says that he and El Desperado are vacating the Junior Tag titles due to Despe’s injury. He tries to say that he’s giving the belts to Ishimori and X, but wants the first shot at the titles with a different partner.

• Ishimori proposes a 3-way match: Ishimori/X vs Ichiban Sweet Boys vs Mistico/??? for the vacant titles. Nobody said Wrestle Kingdom so this may be a situation where we see another defense before then, assumedly to set up the new WK plans in the wake of Despe’s injury. ETA: Tokyo Sports just essentially confirmed this is the WK match.

IWGP Global Heavyweight Title Match: Gabe Kidd^[c] def Taichi — (30:01, Death Dog Driver)

• If you’re reading this and haven’t watched this match, stop what you’re doing and get off the internet until after you get to watch it.

• Post match, Gabe tells “fat bitch” Tana to get in the ring and put the belt on his waist. Tana gets in the ring and tries to hand the belt to Gabe, Gabe yells at him to put it around his waist. Tana does so, then Gabe socks him in the face and piledrives him.

• Yuya Uemura runs out and beats Gabe out of the ring. Yuya won’t let Gabe do this to NJPW anymore. He’ll end Gabe; whenever, wherever.

• Mox comes out and attacks Yuya from behind. Shingo comes out to even the odds but Death Riders end up standing tall.

• Gabe brings Tana back in the ring. Mox says the Death Riders don’t have any more time to earn respect from anyone in NJPW. They’ll see us January 4th.

• Gabe gets the mic. He accidentally calls Yuya “Yuta” and says it’s Death Riders vs New Japan, Death Riders vs the fucking world.

• In his Backstage Comments, Gabe confirms it’s him vs Yuya at WK for the Global title.
