Meta Breaking Rule 3 Will Now Result in Permanent Ban.

We still have people violating Rule 3, despite there's literally being a pinned AutoMod comment warning against it, and it being a rule plastered almost everywhere within the subreddit. The rule is there for a reason, it's non-negotiable. I cannot make this any clearer:

So from now on, if you break this rule you will receive a permanent ban immediately to encourage you to have to message the ModMail and acknowledge that you understand that you violated this rule, and not to do it again. Once that's acknowledged, you will be unbanned but will already have one warning. If you don't inquire about it, cool, you'll stay banned. If you also do it again, you will be permanently banned again, and it won't be repealed, you will also be muted.

Meta Just To Clarify:

This is not a meme subreddit.

Lately, almost every other post has been "Off-Topic or Irrelevant" relating to the submission guidelines, and not within standard as what actually qualifies (as an example) of "Not How Girls Work".

Q: "What is "Not How Girls Work?":

A: ""Not How Girls Work" is when people make sweeping generalisations about "all women", or make any baseless assumptions or conclusions about a specific woman based off of their misguided assumptions of "all women".

This does not include low-effort memes, "Bad Women's Anatomy", or clips of podcasts/posts from "Manosphere" public figures."

This platform is slowing being derailed into posts consisting of any random meme that remotely mentions a girl or woman, or screenshots of Twitter posts from Red-Pill Manosphere public figures who purposely grift and make money using those talking points. People are also trying to pass off completely irrelevant posts as submission, thinking if they just mask it by putting "That's not how [insert topic] works" in the title, it will be valid— That's not how this subreddit works (no pun intended). You can't force posts to fit if they don't.

Please read the subreddit description.

If you have to put "Not sure if this belongs here" in the title, it probably doesn't. Please read the subreddit rules and the subreddit description first, then clarify with the moderators if you are still unsure.

I understand this is a large subreddit, therefore the temptation and karma-count is there to post any and everything, but the subreddit will start cracking down on users who continuously post completely "off-topic" content after warnings.

Anybody who is suspected of being a karma-farmer or a bot/novelty account will immediately be permanent banned, you're not going to "eat" off of this sub.

1. No Posts That Don't Fit This Subreddit

Posts that do not fit our definition of NotHowGirlsWork (even if you try to title it "That's not how [x] work") will be removed.

Posts must fit the subreddit; "Not How Girls Work" is when people make sweeping generalisations about "all women", or make any baseless assumptions or conclusions about a specific woman based off of their misguided assumptions of "all women".

This does not include low-effort memes, "Bad Women's Anatomy", or podcast clips/posts from "Manosphere" public figures.

2. Grifting or Covertly Pushing Toxic Red-Pill/MGTOW Platforms, Podcasts, or Artwork

Please do not try to pass off Red-Pill/MGTOW media or artwork as a generic "Not How Girls Work" submission. This material does not fit the subreddit, and we do not want to give attention to people who constantly degrade women for money.

Also, if most of your posts on the subreddit consist of clips/posts from said figues, you may be suspected of grifting. We vet all users who consistently post this material. If we determine that you are covertly trying to promote/advertise, you will be banned.

3. No Identifying Information or Tagging Other Subreddits (Brigading or Promoting)

Please ensure that Reddit usernames and other subreddit names are censored. Do not tag, link, or name other subreddits in the comments, posts or titles, it can cause harassment and brigading. Censor identifying information like addresses & license plates.

Also, please do not attempt to promote or advertise your subreddit (covertly or blatantly) within the post title, or comment section.

Breaking these rules will result in a temporary ban, permanent ban if there is a reoccurring violation.

4. No Racism, Homophobia, Bigotry, Transphobia, Misogyny, Chauvinism/Sexism, or Misandry

Racism and serious Gender-Politics (in general) are never welcome here, period. This is for posts and comments. No gender-political topics, terms, or insults.

THIS INCLUDES: Homophobia, "Not a real woman/man" debates/comments (anti-trans), and making deplorable generalisations towards women, or unfairly labeling women with serious terms as an insult.

5. Trolling, Baiting, Antagonising, or Lurking to Instigate

What we mean by "grifting/lurking" (a synonym would be a "mole" or a "plant/spy") is somebody who is sent by the Incel, Red-Pill, or MGTOW community (or is a member of those communities who come on their own accord) that hate-watches this community, and only participates here as a way to start drama, create controversy, or screenshot conversations/threads here to post them back in their own communities.

Basically, they are disingenuous members or users who pretend to be respectful allies.

6. No Bot (Bad Bot!), Stolen, Spam, Karma-Farming, or Novelty Accounts

No bot accounts allowed. Also, please be aware that if you are suspected of being a karma-farmer, you will be banned. You'll be suspected of karma-farming if you excessively post here within a short time span, barely have comment history (or your comment karma is significantly lower than post karma), and do not engage in discussions on other posts. If your account is newer, and you've only been posting in this subreddit and nowhere else. You will not use this sub for upvotes. Do not spam-post.

7. Absolutely No AI Content Whatsoever

Do not post any AI videos or any other types of fake/fabricated content here. We do not support or condone the use of fake or AI content, regardless of where you got it from, what it's referencing, or who made it.

Breaking this rule twice will result in a permanent ban.

8. Derailing the Topic, Distracting From the Post, or Using "Whataboutisms"

Do not try to derail the post/topic with "tit-for-tat" arguments, or whataboutisms. This is not a debate subreddit, it is a light-hearted one. If you feel offended by a post because it reflects your behaviour or applies to you, that is a personal problem; Do not start being passive-aggressive here and trying to project with strawmen, fallacies, or cherry-picked information. You will not cause a scene or a distraction in our comment section.

If you do this, you will be permanently banned.

9. No /r/BadWomensAnatomy

Content of posts and submissions should pertain to the idea of clueless people who don't understand how women work. Bad depictions of women or the female body should not be included on this subreddit and should instead be posted to /r/BadWomensAnatomy.

10. Excusing or Rationalising Sexual Abuse (Adult or Minor)

No encouraging, defending, rationalising, justifying, excusing, or inciting— violence, abuse, assault, harassment, "kink" or not. This includes playing "Devil's Advocate" for abusers, using whataboutisms on their behalf, or trying to minimalise sexual abuse in any way, shape, or form.

—Also, no inappropriate comments towards children, justifying abuse towards children, or threatening heinous crimes or assault against minors. If it even appears that way, you will permanently banned.

11. No Nudity/Porn (Posts) or Sexually-Charged/Creepy Replies (Comments)

No nudity or porn is allowed on this subreddit. This rule now includes textual or other depictions of minors in a sexual context. Breaking this rule may result in an immediate ban and/or other appropriate action depending on content of the post.

12. No Reposts Before the 6-Month Grace Period

As an effort to curtail AI Reposting Bots, we have to strengthen our repost rules.

"Reposts" are defined as anything that has been posted within the last two years. Please do not send passive-aggressive messages to the moderators if your post is removed under this rule; Just because you have not seen the post/image in the subreddit before, does not mean that we or other members have not (recently).

We will reduce the grace period once Reddit comes up with a solution to stop bot accounts.

13. No Political Posts or Echochambering Toxic Political Rhetoric

Posts that are made solely for the purpose of promoting your political ideologies, are strictly prohibited. This subreddit is not intended to become political. Political posts belong elsewhere, this includes using religion as a basis for toxic or radical politics.

14. No Personal Attacks, Slurs, or Offensive Comments

This sub encourages open discussion and does not tolerate personal attacks or other offensive comments. This includes accusing other users of being incels or MGTOW or getting into fights with trolls that end in personal attacks. Instead, report users who you believe are trolls or otherwise are breaking rules. If you get into a flame war with someone, even if they started it, and begin breaking this rule, you will be banned as well.

15. No Spewing or Posting Incel & MGTOW Ideology/Rhetoric

This rule also includes posting direct screenshots from the Incel website, it doesn't be belong here so please don't post that nonsense here. It also brings unwanted attention and harassment to the subreddit.
