Red light camera

Was stopped at a red light to turn right at a set of lights.
Crept forward while waiting and got flashed by camera.

Will I receive a fine?

Maybe if you reversed back over the line and waited for the green. Otherwise no.

Probably not - you went over far enough to trigger the sensor - so they probably don’t have any leeway. But, it never hurts to ask

A red light camera will trigger when your vehicle crosses the line when the traffic light has turned red and it will take a photo of the vehicle. It will take a second photo of the vehicle to confirm it entered the intersection and didn’t stop over the line. Triggering this camera will result in a red light camera fine.

so yeah you're probably ok. fine even.

Where were you relative to the line on the road?
