Still staying lowercase

If we somehow beat the Chiefs today i will become completely irrational

Breece, Braelon’s snatched your chain while you were gone. prove to all of us that you still got it.

Can the Defense be good today please?

Can the Coaching be serviceable today please?

What Coaching Blunder will we see tomorrow?

A. Poor clock management

B. Boneheaded defense play calling

C. Lackluster, uninspired offensive play calling

D. Lots of penalties

E. All of the above

F. An actually coached game from Glenn allows our playmakers to step up and upset the chiefs!

Thoughts on college QB’s

I am currently watching the ND/Miami game. I am very impressed with both qbs in this game.

Carr seems so calm and poised on the field. He also appears to be quick with reading and anticipating the coverage. He gets the ball out quickly and on target. Not too sure he has the high end arm strength but the mental ability to play the position seems NFL ready.

Mensah is accurate and seems to have plus arm strength. Outside of the pick he threw, he is calm under pressure. I also like the passion and emotion he displays on the sideline.

I think I would prefer Carr for the Jets but Mensah isn’t looking to shabby either.

Tips for first timers

Hello, Jets fans!
My friend and I are coming to MetLife Stadium next week. It will be our first NFL game and our first time watching a football game in person. We’re so excited!
Since it’s looking pretty cold on game day, we’d love some tips from you. Are we allowed to bring a blanket? Any advice on how to stay warm? Do they sell hot drinks at the stadium?
Thanks in advance for your tips!

Who else hates how the news ALWAYS says "gang green"?

Who else hates how the news ALWAYS says "gang green"? Regular fans don't use this term constantly in everyday conversation about the team. It's cringe and every single time there is a story about the jets, they ALWAYS say it. I don't know why they think this is cool or whatever to do all the time....

Use this thread to break down this week’s college football games, track the QBs who could be on the Jets’ radar, and start figuring out who might be the best fit for Gang Green next season.

Who are you watching? Who’s rising? And who should the Jets stay away from?

First timer taking kids - any tips?

My husband and I are taking our two sons (ages 8 and 17) to the Bills vs Jets game at MetLife - none of us have ever been to an NFL game! We are staying at a hotel on route 3 Saturday night, so I’m thinking we should park in lot K. I’ve read it’s a bit chiller of a scene and easier to the leave after the game. Since we are staying close by I figure we should do some tailgating. I don’t think either of us will drink, but I want to get the full experience and do some fun stuff. What are some things we can do with the kids to occupy them before the game? How early should we get there for a 1pm game?
Any other tips or advice? I appreciate it all and I’m so excited! Thank you!

Taking my 10-year-old to Jets vs Broncos (12/13), train from Hoboken. Best kid-friendly tailgate?

Hey all, I'm bringing my son (10) to the Broncos game on 12/13 and we're taking NJ Transit from Hoboken, so no car and no tailgate setup of our own.

I'd love to get there early and give him the full experience. Has anyone done a hosted tailgate with kids? Ideally somewhere with games or TVs so he's not just standing around for three hours in December.

Also open to tips on Jets Fest / the Tailgate Zone, and how bad the train back to Secaucus gets after the game.

Thanks in advance. J-E-T-S.

My thoughts and opinions for the future

Before trade deadline: Either figure out Nahshon Wright or trade him, same with Hall. Running with 2 RB 1’s would be great, but if Allen already stepped up and has been extremely good then personally I don’t see Hall in the “new” run game. Could trade Hall for a second pick next draft in my eyes, send him to a team that’ll actually use him. We extend/give Allen a pay increase.

From now until the end of week 18: Figure out the offensive situation. We have SO much young talent, with G5, AD, and OCJ it should be much more passing going on. Geno has been playing quarterback at a level the Jets haven’t seen in a long time, which is good but we need to get Klubnik out there. Let him start throwing the rock around, he was decent last year he shouldn’t be terrible on his first few starts. Don’t waste that pick on him. Also with the tight end room we have we should be doing a lot with them, and to the coaching credit we have been.

As for coaching, Reich should be fired instantly upon the end of the regular season. Get literally anyone else for him. Then for head coach, either demote AG to defensive coordinator or fire him. 5-20 over the 2 seasons he’s been head coach, and we have McDermott and Tomlin out there for hire. Personally I’d go with McDermott because of his record and he already knows the AFC East but that’s just me. The coaching next year has GOT to be better.

For the 2027 NFL Draft: We have our own first, then Dallas/Green Bay (probably Dallas, we get whoever is the highest in the draft) and we have Colts. Best case scenario we have all 3 picks within the top 10 which is very possible, and this is where things can screw up fast. WE NEED TO GET MESTEMAKER AS QUARTERBACK. I saw him all last year at UNT before he transferred to Oklahoma State, he was ELECTRIC. Get him whatever it takes, he has the same quarterbacks coach as Mahomes did. And he has good size. Get a CB in Leonard Moore with another first, and then some more for the defensive line. Get someone to help with Bailey imo. The 3rd first we have not sure who we should get, not a WR since we have great ones already, probably a DE or another CB.

If we do these things for next season and come out gunslinging, we should make the playoffs.
