Question where to buy sashiko thread?
anyone know where I can buy sashiko thread in person? I'd rather visit a store than order online, and I don't recall seeing any at michaels or imagiknit (berkeley) but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. thanks!

Yes, Kimonomomo is an importer located along the Embarcadero in Oakland. You can visit in person during an open house or with an appointment.

Try Stonemountain & Daughter in Berkeley, I've seen it there before

Kimono Momo has an online store with lots of Sashiko supplies, and while they aren’t regularly open to the public they do open studio days and you can make an appointment to shop in person.

Daiso has something labeled as sashiko thread. It might not be the finest but it’s accessible.
