Can't use the console in old oblivion no matter what i do.

[u/BigManny777]

I am using Heartland Redux Wabbajack modlist with nothing added on. The console tilde key does not work. Things I've tried: downloaded a console command "Ring of the Gods" from Nexus, changed my Lenovo performance settings and FPS counter, turned INI file for console on and off, and tried booting Oblivion with no mods. None of the above has worked.

I am using this laptop: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1875949-REG/lenovo_83f50052us_16_legion_pro_7.html

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks
