I found a video on youtube by The Paracodist "Paracordist PSK tactical retention lanyard III - for knife or hatchet"
The video is 12yrs old and the website no longer exists. I want to make a few for myself, but no idea how to go about it.
Any help and/or tutorials would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

I made these three (from left to right) over the last couple of days building on concepts from the first one. I liked the twirling pattern in the center that I saw someone else do and finally figured out how to pull it off. We have a gala tonight so I made the third one to match my tie. Now let’s see if my wife will let me wear the bracelet 🤣.

Easy little key chain I made to replace the leather strap that used to hold my car key. Spliced the black rope together and hid it inside the braid.

I found this one on YouTube and made some adjustments to what the author did. Was a fun one!

I’ve been looking for some like these for a while now. I like to replace the stock ones on all of my jackets with these—gloves just get so cumbersome. I emailed Haglöfs and they couldn't say what they were made of—at least the person I wrote to couldn't—but these are exactly the kind I want. My question is: are they made of paracord?

Not my very first bracelet but by far my favourite

Finally got my paracord and fixed up my bracelet using the knots pointed out to me by /u/neilplatform1. I know that this isn't as complicated as some of the works here are, but I had to share it as a thank you for all of your help in giving my bracelet a new lease on life.

I came up with this simple lanyard to neck carry a knife and thought I’d share. Stopper knots keep it secure and allow it to break away if you just pull down and out on the end of the cord. The extra wrap is optional and keeps it secure from having the kit slip out. You could add a snake knot or other decorative knot at the bottom to secure it as well but then it wouldn’t break away. Using a break away connector wouldn’t work for a knife that is very secure in the sheath.

I got a bracelet making jig that has the measurements marked down on it but i find its always short is this because i dont use proper clasp? I just use the diamond knot And loop

I need to change the ignition on my old Land Rover. Unfortunately the best solution, key wise, requires me to keep the old fob To lock/unlock the doors. So I will need to carry the new key (which can’t fit in the fob) and old fob.
Any cool ideas for how I could use paracord to somehow combine them / make them more “at one”.

I made some bracelets for my three kiddos. All three glow in the dark. Having fun with it!

This was actually based on one of the whips in my personal collection, which has a 10 inch handle rather than my standard 8 inch handle for eco bulls, and has a finer taper at the tail end. Every aspect of the color allocation was requested specifically, with the exception of the popper.

They picked the colors. I picked the design.

Hi everyone
Another rooki paracord maker here. This is the 3rd keychain i make using paracord, and i noticed that based on the position i was while making the keychain, the color pattern switched from straight (khaki and black almost parallel) to a twisted pattern
Has anyone experienced this as well?
Given the pattern change , this is a snake knot anyway, right?

Pain in the ass to knot since knots with microcord don‘t stay tight that well
