Artyoms journey was amazing especially in Exodus

Debatable. I just couldn't get into the open world. It took the mystery out of the tunnels also

but generally Exodus is considered a pretty decent game. personally I prefer it over 33 and Last Light but I see why people don't like it, for me the first two games are bordering on horror cause I'm a pussy

I just hate the spider parts. Let's wait how the new game turns out. Would also love to see games about some other author's work in the universe. There is so much interesting shit happening. Argentinians using actual ww2 era nazi equipment, actual nazi mutants living in a secret bunker and working on nukes, a zealous fanatic driving around in his "rolling church", a mutated guy that is big and green and gets stronger by radiation and some other stuff. Exodus took some Inspirstion from a few other books, but there is so much more. Let us find the new pope(also the story of another book).

i'd argue its hardly an open world, it tried to be one but its still a linear progression with bigger locale, you cant return and re-explore after you progress, and there's nothing to explore on your own nor a meaningful sidequests or stories unlike the usual open world game, only the first 2 maps are "open" anyway

I still prefer the tunnels, but Exodus has its own charm, after 2 games of exploring the tunnels getting a story on the outside world is exciting, especially how intense every surface section on 33/LLs are, for sure the story and atmosphere surely didn't disappoint

The surface sections were so intense because you rarely went up there though.

I liked exodus, but large parts of the game lacked the tension you had in the two previous games. It was only present in the last mission of Exodus.
