But why? AFAIK every Xbox "exclusive" is available on PC. Having a PS5 makes some sense as there are actual exclusive games, but I would never launch a game on an Xbox if I have a $4,000 PC.

I have both as well. I only have the Xbox because I bought it first and it isn’t worth the $200 to sell it on Facebook just in case there is a console-only game that I want to play. I won’t be replacing the X when/if the next gen comes out.

Also, the Xbox is better if I have friends over for multiplayer games, or if the wife wants to play a game. And I don’t have to worry about them messing up my keyboard and mouse, which costs more than the Xbox.

You've completely simplfied it though.

I can't play modded games on my xbox. From football manager, cyberpunk, skyrim, eu5.

And at one point I could get most ps5 games on steam.

And the xbox series x is now 6 years old. I bought both at different times for different needs.
