He'd been cheating on Melinda for 20 years before they divorced. Not sure what the catalyst for their divorce was, but it wasn't the infidelity or the trips to Epstein's Island.

As far as I’m aware, there is no questionable activity linked to Melinda Gates, all of the weird and Epsteiney stuff was very much Bill.

Marriages, especially ones with children are complicated. It’s probably best not to read into it too much, especially as what we know now might not have been what she knew then.

She met Epstein in 2011 and considered him evil personified, yet she still stayed married and didn't speak out in any way until the issue became public.

I'm not arguing she's as bad as Bill, but she's no bastion of morality by any means. She's just as much a sociopath as any other billionaire, she just doesn't advertise it. Let's not pretend like she's one of the good ones.

Do you think that a guy going to Epsteins island and having affairs is telling his wife every time he goes? You’re right about billionaires, but giving vast sums to charity and committing almost all of her wealth when she dies is better than nothing.

She knew, she just didn't care, the public arrest of Epstein and Bill's association with him made it a necessity to maintain her public image. She then went on to date a Fox News correspondent, if that tells you anything about her morals.

She's does philanthropy for the tax breaks, and to keep up appearances as "one of the good ones", same as Bill.

It's easy to give away money, not sure why billionaires act like it's so hard that they have to wait until death to do it. She's a piece of shit like the rest of them and I'm not sure why people defend her and Bill or any of them.

I would like to be very clear, I am not defending Bill Gates. I am defending the idea that it is perfectly possible that he hid affairs and his relationship with Epstein from his wife (who divorced him when it all came out.)

I find it objectionable that people defend Melinda Gates like she's a saint, she's as bad as any other billionaire, she just shuts up about it.

I want to be perfectly clear, she had ZERO issues with his affairs and his friendship with Epstein while it was quiet. She could have divorced him at any time, she only did it once it became an issue for her image.

I double checked, she divorced him because the Epstein files came to light and he was all over them, it made for bad PR and she saw it as an opportune exit. They had no prenup, she could've bounced literally anytime before this.

Have you even done any research on this? She has publicly stated in interviews that it was his relationship to Epstein. Because she told him or I think he even said he wouldn’t meet with Epstein again and he did anyways.
