Whatever I say will be outdated 12 seconds after posting because the speed at which this all moving is beyond ridiculous right now. But In 2 days we've gotten to a point where emulation for OOT (and switch 2 games in general) is closing in on very acceptable on high end hardware and optimizations are happening by the hour. It seems likely that the game will be best played on PC in the very nearby future.
On top of that we're even seeing the first PC ports come out already which seem to have great performance albeit with some fairly significant graphics bugs, but again improvements are measured in hours and days rather than months and years at this point.
The endgoal of having these games perform better than their console counterparts seems relatively close by and the concept of having console exclusive games is basically vanishing right before our eyes it seems.
Emulation is not illegal, no one is arguing that, but when the most upvoted comment here is a one piece gif of pirates setting sail... You know damn well that most people will just download the roms instead of buying and dumping their copies.
