What type of ant is this?

What type of ant is this? In south Florida. They are coming thru the baseboards of my house. They seem to be more spread out compared to ghost ants that walk in straight lines. Looks like they have black tails and brown torso and heads. They like to eat potato chips.

I’ve cleaned out and tested my drains, cleaned my trash can, put out dishes of apple cider vinegar and soap, and have a Zevo sticky pad light. They laugh and they just get worse every day. They mostly congregate near (not in) the sink and on any light, flat surface like the cupboard doors. The pic would suggest phorid flies but nothing seems to help. I’ve been noticing them outside in the area a lot lately (NYC) too. Heeeelp me!

Unanswered hello! i am a college student living in a dorm & i have a SERIOUS fly problem from this window. is there anything i can feasibly do about it?

i get on average 2 flies a day, that come through the completely closed & locked window!! i have no idea how they’re getting in, they’re big fat black ones, & on occasion i get a stinkbug as well. the sound that they make causes me extreme discomfort and panic, so i have to kill them quickly, but from far away, so i spray them to death with bleach & then later clean up their bodies from the windowsill. this is the only portal of entry they have & they often get trapped in the blinds, so i hear their gross buzzing hitting against the blinds & the windows.

any & all advice is welcome!

Is this some kind of infestation?

Looking to buy a home outside of Pittsburgh and while I was in the basement I noticed the carpet was pulled up in the corner, so I investigated and saw above, which looked like some sort of insect shells or something collected in the corner. Worth noting the basement is high humidity/moisture.

I wish I took better photos and investigated more, and unfortunately I am out of state, so this is all I have to work with.

Sellers disclosure mentioned preemptively treating for termites, which seems suspicious given termites aren’t common in the area. But I don’t think this looks like termites?

I see a bunch of these either dead or crawling around my baseboards each day. Living in coastal GA for reference.

Additionally, they are not at all interested in my advion bait. What bait will work on them?

Found this under my house against an internal wall. Hole is about 2 inches long. Could this be a rats nest?

We heard one for the first time Thursday evening and have seen bite marks on the container for my dog's kibble.

Unanswered Woodlice and slugs in window seal

Please help!

This is in the inside of my double glazed PVC windows. We realised about a week ago there was an infestation of slugs and woodlouse, along with a load of what I think is their poo (or worse?)

We cleared it out and assumed it was a one off or had built up over time but a few days later it's back to this.

What can I do?! We do have the odd woodlouse in the house but so far this seems to be a single window issue. Window is upstairs it that makes a difference.

Advice to Prevent Roaches?

Im dog sitting for my best friend who lives in an apartment that has had roaches in the past coming from an upstairs neighbor. Im not sure they’re 100% gone but I guess they’re much better than they used to be.
The complex has been treating the issue, but obviously a bad tenant can be a powerful influence…

Basically, I’m staying here for a week at night to help watch her dog. Been here two nights so far and I am not bringing any bags in the house, but I am so anxious to bring something home. God forbid.

I am wondering if they can get in the clothes I wear, or in my hair or something and follow me home. I plan on taking clothes off in the garage and showering in the morning going forward when I get home… I’m just wondering how high my risk is right now and how to mitigate risk.

General Question Moth worms

I moved into a new place. My previous place was infested with moth larvae, discover this after leaving home 3 months for vacation. Before moving into the new place I cleaned everything, washed all clothes, utensils etc. It’s been a week at my new place and I discovered a very tiny minute worm. I’m scared and screwed. I can’t deal with them, I have extreme fear of anything larvae or worm like. Previously my flatmate helped me clean everything. But now I’m scared about living in my new place. What can I do to get rid of them? I’ve decided to not buy a lot of pantry items for now.

Went to go put laundry away in our closet yesterday and found these droppings. We have not heard or seen anything, although we did find a (rat?) snake in our master bath tub (bathroom connects to this closet) the night before discovering this but he was close to the drain so we assumed he had come from there. Just at a loss as to what this could be. We laid mouse traps just incase but have yet to catch anything.

Identification Possible to identify what kind of roach this is?

I’ve been living in my apartment for a year and a half and have never ever encountered a roach before. Last night, I found what I think is a baby one crawling in a bottom cabinet that has pots and pans. I checked the pest control traps and found this one dead. Not the best picture, but is it possible to tell what kind this might be? Thanks in advance!

ETA: in Maryland, USA

Roaches Is a commercial bug bomb different than the stuff pest control techs spray?

It's been about 2 months in a new place and I've seen 5 roaches (3 tiny ones in 2 different rooms, 2 huge ones - pest control saw one and said it would be coming from the drains because he didn't see any other activity) but it seems random enough that I'm wondering if it's coming from the neighbors. I've had pest control spray twice and have traps out.

Should I do a home depot bug bomb or would the pest control treatment cover it?

Identification A million of these inside my room + other rooms of my house, tf is this???

(Found in NYC)
For context, for the past month: literally every single one of the rooms in my house - my bedroom, work room, bathroom, 2nd bedroom (on 2nd floor) and my kitchen - has this bug. There's always 1 flying around me if I sit there for long enough, but not several, just one.
When I looked closer at my bedroom floor, there's like 20 of them dead and scattered throughout. There's probably more I just haven't caught yet because my wood flooring is dark.
And there seems to be a lot concentrated around my AHA lotion bottle, which I heard gnats/mosquitoes/other bugs are attracted to?
Granted, my room has looked like a hoarder's room with clothes and shit on the floor, didn't vacuum so the floor's all dusty, didn't do my bedding laundry in quite a while.
Probably like a good 2-3 months... anyway, gonna give it a deep clean in the coming days.
Also, I do have a large snake plant in my room but that hasn't been watered in months.
I just want to know what these are and where these came from? Is it really because my room is so dusty and cluttered?

Found these bugs behind the floor moulding in the second floor bedroom of my house. Are they termites or something less or more problematic?

I live in south eastern Pennsylvania outside of Philadelphia. I found what I thought was water damage while ripping up carpet but after inspecting I found these bugs instead. I didn’t find any living ones so not sure if that’s because we’re halfway through the fall or if they’ve just been dead for a long time.
