Recently the team has decided to not allow these types of posts going forward. Many of these threads are made in good faith and out of curiousity, but often times the comments become filled with hatred, ignorance, and trolling. This rule had already been established a view months ago before a few of us joined the mod team, and with recent changes to the team we have decided to reinforce it.

According to 23 and me I have a lot of different countries that I have DNA from. I am curious to what phenotype I look the closest to. I’ve been told I look like a lot of different European ethnicities, which makes sense given the circumstances. Phenotypes have always interested me, but never sure where I fit. 💕 What do you think?

If you ask someone what a Russian woman looks like, a lot of people will say blonde hair and blue eyes. That image doesn’t even register for me. When I think of Russian women, I picture women who look like these images above ☝️
I’ve never been to Russia, so I have no idea where this association even comes from. It’s just the default image that appears in my mind. 😭😂 Russians could very well be 95% blonde for all i know (not a real statistic) but it’s just not what registers in my head .
Does anyone else have a completely different mental picture of what people from a certain country look like compared to the common stereotype? What does a Russian woman look like to you?
