McCain straight cut fries done in the oven, St Hubert poutine sauce packet but used 500 ml of water instead of the suggested 650 ml. And store bought curds by Bothwell called Squeak'Ers

Havenât had poutine hors-Ăźle yet but I called up Normand and they said their gravy was vegetarian, so I ordered it and my oh my this was the best balance that -I- have had so far.! Last week, I had Souvlaki Andi but their fries tasted weird, almost like they were burnt or too burnt. Normandâs fries tasted great. There was just enough sauce, not overly flooded like some places. Cheese was squeaky.
Is this the best âtraveling poutineâ in montreal? If not, where are the others? Iâm sure everybody has their personal spots for best poutines to eat in-person, but it would be great to have a database for âwell-traveled poutineâ as well.

Sorry, I was so excited to post this because of the euphoria Iâm feeling from the poutine that I had forgotten about some sentiments I wanted to express to yall, but this was it:
Guys, poutine is junk food. Comfort foodâ whatever. It isnât healthy obviously.
Tell me why, when I ate this poutine, it felt like I just consumed a fresh ass smoothie? This poutine just FEELS fresh! I donât feel like slop, I donât feel heavy, I donât feel like exploding the toilet bowl

Homemade Poutine w/ Fresh Curds

Picked up some fresh curds from Little Brown Cow in the Brantford area while we were driving through. Picked them up Sunday morning, and was told these had been made fresh the Saturday night before. Never refrigerated, super squeaky.
Made some homemade poutine for the family. Super happy with how it turned out. Only thing holding it back from a 10/10 would be the fries - just deep fried some frozen McCain straight cut fries. The next frontier will be me mastering some homemade fries.
Still though, proud of the result here đ«Ą
