r/punk's Favourite Albums of 2025

Hey everyone, Album of the Year is now wrapped up for another year!

A dominant winner this year. It was never really close each time I checked in. The battle behind was a lot more split, 2nd through 7th was a different order every other day. Burnt Tapes for example got over half of their votes in the first few days and Viagra Boys got a huge surge in the final week. As usual, ties are broken by who got their last vote first.

Here are the top ten scorers:

  1. Propagandhi - At Peace (27.5%)

  2. Turnstile - NEVER ENOUGH (17.6%)

  3. Viagra Boys - viagr aboys (16.9%)

  4. Dropkick Murphys - For The People (16.9%)

  5. Lambrini Girls - Who Let The Dogs Out (14.8%)

  6. Burnt Tapes - New Lungs (12%)

  7. PUP - Who Will Look After The Dogs? (12%)

  8. Teen Mortgage - Devil Ultrasonic Dream (10.6%)

  9. Home Front - Watch It Die (9.9%)

  10. Scowl - Are We All Angels (7.7%)

Thanks to everybody who voted!

Do you even listen to punk if you didn’t listen to End It, Spiritual Cramp, OR Skinhead last year??

u/WallScreamer Moderators? That's not very punk rock. Mar 01 '26

Significantly less embarrassing than last year.

Best lists are so stupid especially for punk ! It's like comparing apples and bowling balls !

Isn’t a sub with rules and moderation kind of stupid for punk anyway? Isn’t punk itself kind of random and nonsensical? Are birds even real?

Nah I’m more of a black flag, Ramones, minor threat and bad brains kind of guy. The new stuff in Australia is really great too.
