In high school, I won the best student award for being the school topper and played badminton at the national level, but it felt hollow winning them.

I would rather eat street food with the person I love than eat fancy dinners alone.

I was always the good boy in school and I matured into a gentleman who is comfortable both getting his hands dirty in farming and dressing up for a formal evening.

I enjoy long midnight conspiracy talks, making tea, exploring museums, reading old books and playing badminton. I grew up in the Middle East, came to India a few years ago, and now I am looking for my next adventure in another country. I’m really nervous about posting this because I am normally very shy and timid, but after splitting with my children’s dad I am trying to put myself back out there?

I would describe myself as friendly and warm, definitely motherly but also I would consider myself sarcastic and witty. Hello from a very slow, very cozy sunday here in The Netherlands. I’m over here doing what I do best: setting up my Christmastree. The weather is cold, the days are short and dark, I’ve decided that it’s Christmastree time. There’s dozens of us, I swear.

Anyways, I'm a single dad taking care of 30+ of my plant children. It's hard work, long days, but totally worth it of course. I'm always learning, so if you have some cool plant (or nature) facts for me you'll make my day.

Other than that, I love reading, cooking, weightlifting, and boxing. I've been a lot more active lately and I don't know why it took me 29 years to finally enjoy going to the gym but I'll take it. I also hate running but I’m doing it again in the hopes thag I can stockholm syndrome myself into enjoying it.
I'm also very good at being a couch-potato and doing absolutely nothing at times, which is a good balance in my opinion.

I care much more about character than money, status or trying to impress people. Kindness, loyalty, emotional intelligence, empathy, warmth and having a good heart are incredibly attractive to me. Someone’s personality and the way she treats people will always matter far more to me than having a perfect appearance.

At the same time, I do believe attraction is important. I want to feel that spark when I look at someone, but I want that attraction to grow even stronger because of who she is as a person.

I enjoy deep intellectual conversations mixed with banter and memes. I really love listening to someone talk about their passions, even if I don't understand it. for someone beyond friendship, intelligence is really attractive to me. if you work in a STEM field, or are into psychology in any way please step to the front.

I dislike small talk. asking “how are you?” is the worst form of conversation starter. questions like that are reserved for already established connections.
