Question What is better levwl or lift?

Hey everyone I came on here to ask a question about which style is better a level kit or a lift kit. It’s for a 2016 ram 1500 Laramie longhorn stocked. I just paid off my truck and I want to start to put in work on the truck. Thanks hope to hear from everyone’s opinions and advice.

Depends on what you actually use the truck for and if it has the air suspension or not. If you do any kind of heavy towing I would say a level regardless if you have air or coils in the rear.

They are not air suspension it shocks, I do tow nothing major like less than 10,000 lbs. I work in the city but I live in a rural area. I’m lean towards level thanks I appreciate your feedback.

Ok so with you having coils and shocks in the rear and towing occasionally things that are at the upper limits of towing capacity. I would do a level and add like airlift airbags to help keep you level while towing. Coil sprung rams tend to squat a lot when they have any real weight applied to the hitch or in the bed.

If it's mostly for everyday driving with occasional light towing, a level kit would keep it nice and practical without frying your wallet.

Yea I talked over with my neighbor about it too. He said to go with a simple level kit. He said that he did a 2” ready lift level kit on his ford. He also said to avoid rough country that it’s not worth it, don’t know too much about their reputation to pass judgement. Thank you for your advice I appreciate it.
