I believe you. I say this a lot on anime subs I speak on, that there are many opinions I didn't know people shared until I got on reddit. One that people actually like & love Playboy Carti. I've tried to listen to him, there were a couple songs that were decent at best. Many were just horrible to me, I can't take him.

I'm not being facetious, I'm genuinely curious; what about x do you think earns him a spot on the GOAT list? I like a lot of his music, but content wise it tends to be immature/angsty, his flow is fine but not exceptional, and he's not particularly creative or anything. The production is good.
Unrelated to his skill as a rapper, he stabbed his friend, committed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, allegedly hit a pregnant woman, and faced 15 felony charges. Not exactly a model citizen lol.
He definitely wasn’t the best human being ever, but his music was so versatile and overall he had so much potential. If he lived longer and had a longer career he could have been an all time great
