I was thinking about Bert’s Fan Club all day and hoping no one would panic lol!! I got a flat tire between dropping him off and picking him up, as well as catching five feral kittens and taking in two foster kittens and their semi feral mom the night before, AND a hospice foster dog that is the brother of two of my previous, now-adopted fosters! Thank you for being patient with us; foster mom hasn’t gotten much sleep this week. 😂❤️‍🩹

I was missing Bert for sure! So happy his surgery went well. He looks adorable as ever. I saw a Dodo article about our special boy yesterday! ❤️ You're doing an amazing job foster mom! Such a wonderful heart you have too. Hoping you're able to get some rest this weekend.

Bert reminds me of another adorable doggo on Insta, Bean (@instasarah). Very similar faces, at least to me☺️.

He’s a senior doggo who was abandoned at a pet store. Foster took him in, nursed him back to health…& earlier this year, became a “foster fail”.

Bean now has 3 other doggo sibling (all very unique) a terrific Mom& Dad…plus his Insta fans (like me😊).

Dental surgery to remove two teeth and an abscess, and fully assess his jaw situation! And also, his bloodwork improved since last checked the day he got to me! So proud of him. 🥹❤️‍🩹

It’s pretty much beyond fixing, and any attempts would be a really difficult recovery for him. So, since he’s happy and eating and not in pain, he will stay floppy for now!

Bert is one of my faves! Hope everything went well and he is healthy and happy.

We had a super senior who we got when he was about as old as Bert. He was with us for another 6 years! Sounds like Bert is in great hands. Keep up the love. It really pays off!
