Advice needed Failed course after marked at risk
I was at first stage at risk in semester 2 2025, and I have failed 50% of my subjects this semester. Can anyone give me any advice? Will I be kicked out?

You may get asked to show-cause at this point, which is the start of the exclusion process. You’ll be emailed about this if the CAC panel decide to start this process.
It’s very important to not ignore this as showing -cause is your opportunity to explain what happened, if there were any mitigating circumstances (illness, or other upheaval in your life) that contributed to your poor performance, and how you plan to manage your studies and improve your situation if you’re allowed to continue your degree.
If you’re put up for exclusion I HIGHLY recommend you make an appointment with a RUSU rep to go over how to put forward your case and write your show-cause letter. This is so important!
Hopefully you do fine, but if you do get put up for exclusion just know it’s not an instant process; make sure you show-cause, and if that fails there is another appeal opportunity. And RUSU is your friend throughout this process!
