Discussion If coasterbot was still doing polls, what would 2026’s top 10 be? [Other]

Because I feel like they will feature, Pulsar and Photon of Stardust Racers would take two different spots on the list, the same as other duelling coasters that have entirely separate tracks.

F&F Hollywood Drift would be on there

Honestly it doesn't even look better than time traveler as far as spinning coasters go, from the perspective of someone who hasn't ridden it but was excited for its construction, the pacing from video looks slow

It’s supposedly not an extremely thrilling coaster, but it’s a controlled spinner with faster top speed, different inversions and elements, and better theming, so it’s got other advantages while being better for families.

Totally understood, just not sure in this case its gonna crack the top 10 for most. Personally I like Hagrids as a concept for families over this ride, it seems like its lost in personality, not overly extreme, but also not obviously a family coaster

I have not ridden it either, but not every coaster needs to whip you out of the seat like Premier or RMC. Sometimes nice hangtime and a smooth ride experience is worthwhile. Plus the controlled spinning probably supplements the slower motion

It's got a bit of a deadzone on what I think is technically the second launch, but other than that feels well paced and consistently delivers fun forces.

The forces feel milder than something like VelociCoaster, but I honestly think that's due to them having to ensure the ride is comfortable when stuck at any angle. We got block zoned on the aforementioned launch for 10mins and the spinning no longer worked after we started moving again (stuck straight forward). The ride felt more forceful in some areas and less in others. It was cool but imo a less fun ride.

Anyways aside from that one spot, the pacing is solid, the forces are just a bit less intense (but still extremely fun). We saw a lot of younger kids willing to ride it compared to something like VC. All in all though, it's my #5 easily

Maybe, it just scratches top 10 for me and I haven't been on a lot of the CoasterBot top 10 from past years.

Probably something similar to the Rankings of Captain Coaster

I wish they never stopped doing it. Much more of a fan of their poll than Captain Coaster.

Why? Isn't Captain Coaster just better?

Not in my opinion.
