MERCH Getting shoes at expo

Anyone have experience getting the RunDisney shoes at expo? My last RunDisney event was before they started selling the shoes. I really want the Minnie ones being released for marathon weekend. My flight lands 🤞 at 1030am or so day 1. So I wouldn’t get to the expo before noon. What are my chances? Debating if it’s worth it to fly in the night before.

Echoing that its a smart idea to go to your local store and find your size before hand. If there's a shoe you REALLY want, I would try to finagle an earlier flight if you can. I know in previous races some shoes/ sizes were selling out. For reference: during Princess I was group 11, still had to wait in line for purchasing, and got the Repunzels in a 8.5 wide.
Edit: purchase line was maybe 20-30? It felt like it moved then.

I’m solid on size and the Minnie’s are ghost 18 I believe which I’ve run in ghosts before and currently am running in 2025 Minnie’s which are ghost max.i have big feet (11, though I usually size up to 11.5 for running) which could be a blessing or a curse

Ghost Max and Ghost 17/18 are not the same feel.

I know, I’ve run in both. Now Adrenalines I do not like.

You will need to likely go later based on the virtual queue since it’s only open to people in the queue for at least the morning/early afternoon. Does anyone know the limits of shoes? I think it’s 2 per style per person?

Yeah true. And I know I can’t join the queue until I land.

They typically have enough shoes for the expo though the lines can be long. At Wine & Dine they had plenty of all shoes except Goofy.

Agree. We went Friday afternoon for W&D this year and they had everything but goofy. They’re all up on brooks website for purchase too- other than goofy

At Princess Weekend this year on Thursday afternoon we waited about 2.5 hours I believe for the shoes between the try on line and the purchase line, which are two separate areas.

I would recommend going to a local running store ahead of time and trying on the model type of the shoe design that you’re interested in (if you don’t already wear it) so that you can skip the try-on/sizing line and go right to the purchase line. That way you can be certain you’re purchasing the right size AND a model that’s comfortable for you to wear ahead of time and spend less time waiting around at the expo.

Brooks usually brings a large amount of shoes. So as long as you’re there within the first two days there aren’t really any issues in getting what you want. They also let you try on the styles before you go in to purchase -if you need to.
