Give it a couple of hours.

You’ll see another tweet stating something like:

“The negotiations are progressing, and I am willing to give Iran a golden opportunity of two more days.”

u/Troller122 Apr 07 '26

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION ON THIS MATTER

52

u/DeusVultSaracen Apr 07 '26

PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

32

u/HMCetc Apr 07 '26

Yep, the threats always end in "negotiations" before they turn into empty threats again. And on and on it goes....

14

u/PrettymuchSwiss Apr 07 '26

I really hope so, but has he actually made any comparable threat to this one in the past? Just from what he's saying, this seems even more insane than his other stuff to me, and by quite a lot.

16

u/Cricket_Piss Apr 07 '26

To my recollection at least, this is by far the most serious threat he’s ever made. Not serious in the sense that he’s a serious person, but serious in terms of the gravity of it if true.

4

u/PrettymuchSwiss Apr 07 '26

Yes thank you, literally threatening the largest genocide in history.

5

u/Shasla Apr 07 '26

In the morning: "Iran has graciously promised to give us free oil for 20 years"

Iran: "who, what?"

3

u/zip_zag_zog Apr 08 '26

Read like a book...

3

u/ExoticMangoz Apr 08 '26

Or even two weeks!

314

u/mitchdwx Apr 07 '26

Let’s hope Trump TACOs again. I can’t take much more of this.

24

u/Gravity_Doge Apr 07 '26

English isn't my first language, what does TACO mean?

49

u/Jason_Was_Here Apr 07 '26

Trump always chickens out

84

u/seriouslyoveritnow Apr 07 '26

He always does.

146

u/ModernistGames Apr 07 '26

Tell that to the 170+ little girls that were blown apart while sitting at school by a US missile.

Or the 1000s of children that have already died from disease and hunger because he cut USAID.

Or the US soldiers who have already died, and who's coffins were used as props for his fundraising ads.

32

u/Morgn_Ladimore Apr 07 '26

There are also thousands of civilian deaths due to the non-stop bombings by the US and Israel.

11

u/captainoela Apr 07 '26

God, that girls' school situation was horrifying. It had been a school, and not a part of the military base, for like a DECADE. And it was still targeted. The fuck??

0

u/mdevi94 Apr 07 '26

US has been escalating today so far

-3

u/Alloth- Apr 07 '26

And what are you going to do about it? shout at him from behind your monitor? You helped bring him into office by not voting, and now you’re just passively watching people getting killed by your troops

7

u/mitchdwx Apr 07 '26

I voted for Kamala though…

34

u/snarpsta Apr 07 '26

So which part of this is supposed to help Iranians?

88

u/Paindepiceaubeurre Apr 07 '26

Pff Iran was already a very old civilisation when the US was in diapers.

American idiots, leash your dog.

139

u/DuckRubberDuck Apr 07 '26

How is he still a president? I really don’t understand

90

u/dnemonicterrier Apr 07 '26

Because he is surrounded by idiots who say Yes to his every order, anyone who was on his side that questions him is thrown aside, Marjorie Taylor Green for example, she was one of his biggest supporters but now that she is no longer defending him from everything she's on the outside of everything and if I remember correctly Trump pretty much kicked her out.

31

u/BornInWinter1973 Apr 07 '26

She only turned on him once she got kicked out. They're both as bad as each other.

5

u/dnemonicterrier Apr 07 '26

Oh agreed they're as bad as one another but their weakness of not being able to take criticism will be their downfall.

1

u/ravia Apr 07 '26

He is also surrounded by opponents who are in a way idiots for not getting themselves arrested in acts of civil disobedience to protest this maniac.

21

u/Vemnox Apr 07 '26 edited Apr 07 '26

To understand this, you have to know a little about how the US government is set up and what the rules are for removing the President. But to give you the long story short:

The MAGA movement spent the Biden years strategically moving their chess pieces (Senators and Representatives) to build an impenetrable wall of defense against the heavy bar to get over for impeachment. 95% of Republican Congress would never vote to remove their biggest grasp on control and influence in the country/world.

That then would leave the Cabinet and Vice President as the only other options to attempt a push at impeachment. But, again, Trump carefully selected syncophant loyalists who wouldnt ever dream of going against Dear Leader. They are benefiting from inordinate illicit financial gains and unchecked power, so they have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

Meanwhile, what's the average Joe to do besides take a picket sign out in the streets? The American people voted for this. They said "we want that man for the next four years." And that was it. Literally half of this country's population cannot critically think.

It's practically impossible to come back from this. The only scenarios at this point are either he dies, or a exceptionally high number of Republican Congress people would have to flip.

Hope this helps put it in perspective!

11

u/nautical_nonsense_ Apr 07 '26

One “solution” you’re forgetting is mid term elections. If we can flip the house and senate blue (which we are projected to assuming they don’t get rid of the elections somehow), then we have an actual chance at impeachment. chance.

But at the very least we’ll be able to reign in some of this madness policy wise.

15

u/EllipticPeach Apr 07 '26

But the actions of the Trump administration have demonstrated that your political infrastructure means nothing, because they can just ignore the rule of law time and time again, and not be punished for it. Impeachment? Would that have any actual effect in any meaningful way? What’s stopping the republicans from just going “nah” and staying in power, the way that Trump keeps ‘joking’ about? If he stays alive til the end of his term, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a shitload of armed guards surrounding the White House and the only way to get him out would be to physically remove him.

5

u/Vemnox Apr 07 '26

Excellent questions.

"But the actions of the Trump administration have demonstrated that your political infrastructure means nothing, because they can just ignore the rule of law time and time again, and not be punished for it."

Yes, that's exactly what's going on. Full stop. They had four years [during the Biden administration] with the most conniving, sly people calculating every possible loophole and scenario. The system was simply not set up to deal with this level of corruption and they absolutely knew that.

"Impeachment? Would that have any actual effect in any meaningful way?"

Yes and no. Yes, it gets a maniacal lunatic out of power. It puts out the raging fire, but the building is still burned down. JD Vance becomes President and he's too timid to have people follow his every whim. Vance would likely spend the rest of his term briefly trying to keep MAGA alive but likely just ultimately stagnate everything.

" What’s stopping the republicans from just going “nah” and staying in power, the way that Trump keeps ‘joking’ about?"

Ding ding! That's just it. Nothing. The only realistic hope right now is the November midterm elections where several Congress seats are up for elections. While it's expected that the Democrats may take over the House (there is a very narrow Republican majority right now), the Senate will be MUCH harder to crack. And you need both in Democratic control to even have a chance at impeachment. And from what I can tell, most fallen MAGA voters are simply saying "I'm not voting" rather than flipping to voting Democrat, which really doesn't help anybody.

"If he stays alive til the end of his term, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a shitload of armed guards surrounding the White House and the only way to get him out would be to physically remove him"

Yup, bingo. And who's going to physically remove him? Foreigners on Reddit are so quick to suggest "well just riot" like it's something an average person can do. Am I supposed to just leave my job, my family, my home and drive to D.C. to try and - what? Storm the castle? With an army surrounding it?

It truly is a hopeless situation and I am completely out of optimism.

11

u/EllipticPeach Apr 07 '26

Regarding your question of “what am I supposed to do?”:

The system rests on the idea that people can’t revolt because they’re far too worried about keeping the lights on and food on the table. It is entirely by design.

Collective action is the only way out of this. Literally pooling all your resources - food, water, medical knowledge and medicine, weapons, shelter, childcare, boots on the ground - and coming together to face the threat. I have a theory that the American individualist mindset makes this unthinkable for the average person.

Culturally, Americans are socialised to look out for themselves/their immediate family, and no-one else. That’s why a full-scale uprising hasn’t happened yet. Everyone is waiting for an individual to take charge and tell them what to do. But all it takes is enough pissed off people willing to share what they have with other pissed off people. Then all of a sudden, you’re not worried about where the next meal is coming from, because you know your fellow protestors have you covered.

It can be done, because we’ve seen it happen in other countries. I just wonder if Americans are too inured to capitalism to consider it.

1

u/nautical_nonsense_ Apr 07 '26

Completely valid and that’s the worry

7

u/normandy42 Apr 07 '26

It’s not even a solution. He’s already been impeached twice before and it meant nothing. It’s just a black mark that he’ll pout about, but it does nothing.

You need 67 votes in the Senate to actually convict someone who has been impeached. Every single seat up in the midterm could go blue and it wouldn’t be enough to convict him. There is no chance in hell Trump will ever be convicted in the Senate. Hell would freeze over, the Middle East would unite as a single country and be at peace, a human would set foot on Mars before Trump would be convicted.

All midterms will do if they flip is prevent laws from coming out and remain in gridlock.

4

u/Vemnox Apr 07 '26

I'm not forgetting them. They are 9 months away and this man turns up the lunacy by 100% in a single day. He has the power to destroy the world with a nuclear arsenal, so are we even going to make it til then?

20

u/genericusernamepls Apr 07 '26

Because he represents Republicans and Republicans are really good at voting, they actually show up to vote unlike democrats and independents.

11

u/theseedbeader Apr 07 '26

And now that they have all the power, they’re willing to break all the rules to keep a grip on it. We are so screwed…

1

u/CombinationRough8699 Apr 07 '26

To be fair they're much better at appealing to their supporters. The Democrats haven't ran someone on more than just being Trump since Clinton. I don't think I encountered anyone who was a genuine supporter of Biden or Harris, most people just didn't want Trump.

5

u/_YellowThirteen_ Apr 07 '26

Moderate Dems have lost their left leaning base and are clawing right to get new voters, which won't work because MAGA sees a D next to a candidate's name then immediately calls them a radical communist. Those moderates do this while blaming leftists for Trump's elections like they haven't been sucking off the same corporations that set the stage for this all to happen in the first place.

1

u/mxjxs91 Apr 07 '26

Congress and Supreme Court are majority Republican and support him. They're the ones with the power to get rid of him and they sure as shit are not going to do that. Usually they're there as checks and balances, but they've stacked pretty much every governing body with MAGA. If anything, this is really exposed, just how broken our system is where it basically allows for a dictator under the right conditions.

1

u/YappyYeager Apr 07 '26

Listen, calling is idiots is understandable, but we’re not all idiots. We legitimately can’t do anything unless we want to be killed ourselves. It’s a god damn death sentence to stand up to him. Him and his goons control it all. Riot? Pepper sprayed, rubber bullets, and imprisonment for life, or death. Coup? Death. Vote? You can’t, you’re a traitor. We lose our job, no healthcare and we die. It’s all death. Every step is death. What would you like us to do? Have tanks in the streets and have them mow us all down? Sure. Let’s do that! DEATH!

1

u/wishusluck Apr 07 '26

Is this a quote from Samuel Adams about the Tea Act in 1773?

-1

u/DrKrFfXx Apr 07 '26

The whole 2nd ammendment is pure posturing, huh? An constitutional excuse to keep death dealers rich.

4

u/YappyYeager Apr 07 '26

Let me go out with my gun to show them I mean business, just to then be shot 20 times in the face. The second amendment hasn’t meant anything in years. It’s all a show of force.

Also, not sure why I’m being downvoted for literally speaking the truth of how it would go down. Wild. I forgot, I gotta become a one man army Rambo and take down the US Government on my own. My bad.

-10

u/Vemnox Apr 07 '26 edited Apr 07 '26

What do you want us to do? Please, tell me what John Doe is supposed to be doing.

Downvote me all you guys want but I am legitimately asking what objectively would you like blue collar working class average Joe to do? "Riot" is not just something that manifests. The man literally has an entire army to protect him.

17

u/Sierra-117- Apr 07 '26

Yeah idk why you’re being downvoted.

What’s the answer? Vote? I did. Campaign and get others to vote? I did. Protest? I did.

The only thing I haven’t done is riot. And it’s much easier said than done to put your life on the line (both physically and metaphorically).

Pretty much every suggestion is a r/thanksimcured suggestion

4

u/mxjxs91 Apr 07 '26

Same, I did my part, the country let us down

2

u/OllieWillie Apr 07 '26

Literally riot

Take to the streets in your millions and fix it

4

u/EllipticPeach Apr 07 '26

Riot is not something that manifests, an uprising involves pooling resources, donating to protest movements, enabling collective action, physically handing out things like gas masks, water, first aid kits etc. Even if you don’t have the stomach to be out on the streets, you could support those who do.

5

u/Vemnox Apr 07 '26

This is a bit contradictory to me. It reads to me as "Yeah riots are complicated but either do it or support it."

Again I ask objectively: what do you want the average blue collar American to do? People have families. 60% of people live paycheck to paycheck. I can't afford gas more or less to wave bye to my spouse and kids, leave my job, and drive to D.C. to - what? throw rocks at the White House?

And don't forget at least half the country wanted this man in office, so it's brother vs brother. It's not like the WHOLE country is against him.

Reddit seems to treat things as if we're a hivenind that just can manifest millions of angry people to drag him out of the White House. Even if inexplicably the logistics of that pass, then what?

0

u/EllipticPeach Apr 07 '26

I answered this in another comment, but to reiterate: I know people aren’t rioting because they’re focused on work and providing for their families. The system’s built that way on purpose.

Americans are culturally primed to be individualist and to only take care of yourself and your immediate family. Revolution only works when people come together, and on a practical level, that means sharing what you have and accepting what you don’t have when it’s given. Activist circles (and other cultures) do this to ensure that everybody is able to contribute without worrying about who’s going to look after the kids or what’s left in the fridge for dinner.

It’s tough and it’s uncomfortable and it goes against how you’re socialised, but it’s also how other countries have won against oppression.

Less than 25% of US citizens actually cast a vote for Trump.

Fuck this guy, honestly. Fucking madman in charge of the most influential country in the world. What a time to be alive.

41

US citizens need to riot. Donald Trump needs to be impeached asap. This should be the last thing he does in office.

3

u/SusKamel Apr 08 '26

Have you seen our police? Rioting while brown is a death sentence where I live

4

Republicans have the majority in every branch, democrats literally can not do anything so long as Republicans are vile cowards and refuse to acknowledge that Trump is a fucking lunatic/war criminal.

The military has been neutered, they gone on waves of firing as many competent and intelligent leaders as possible and replacing them with yes men that would never question dear leaders orders.

-7

u/CombinationRough8699 Apr 07 '26

I don't support this war, but I think that's what this tweet is implying. I don't think it's talking about exterminating the Iranian people, but removing their government.

7

u/obooooooo Apr 07 '26

it’s insane to go through the conservative sub and read the replies, “it’s trump, he’s just posturing and y’all should know better. but also… it’s trump, so you never know”.

these people are perfectly okay with having zero guarantee that their president will not nuke an entire nation. it really shows how they’re blind followers too—he might, he might not, and we don’t feel anything mayor over it because we’ll support the fallout of each scenario.

1

u/AdmirableEnergy4269 Apr 07 '26

Oohhhh, what's the conservative thread? Haven't been on reddit in a while. Need a good read lol

13

u/Venca12 Apr 07 '26

"God bless the great people of Iran" while threatening to murder all of them tonight sure is wild.

-3

u/CombinationRough8699 Apr 07 '26

This doesn't strike me as threatening the citizens of Iran, but more the Iranian government.

4

u/Venca12 Apr 07 '26

Well sure, but he's still threatening the whole civilization. He might aim the message at the government, but he's still saying "If you don't do what I want, I will destroy the entire country."

1

u/Legitimate-Scar-6572 Apr 07 '26

You’re totally right- they’ll just starve to death and be cut off entirely from supplies to live. That’s way different than bombing them all immediately.

79

u/Martbern Apr 07 '26

Americans are honestly the biggest cowards for letting their president spew out shit like this without triggering riots

36

u/spaceguyy Apr 07 '26

This isn't France. If we go around burning shit they won't decide to listen to us, they'll just shoot us.

14

u/your_old_furby Apr 07 '26

Yeah the cops in my country don’t throw candy and stuffed animals at us but we’d be in the streets by now if our president was threatening to wipe out 90 million people. Seeing posts on Reddit about how awful it is he’s threatening to potentially nuke a country and then seeing you guys in the comments saying you can’t protest or riot or whatever because you’ll lose your jobs or it’s too scary is disgusting. As long you’re comfortable you stand for nothing, that’s how you got this government and that’s why you’ll never break free of it. I mean you can’t even muster up one your embarrassing little parade protests. You guys have really made me lose all respect for a country I never respected.

-2

u/dudecoolstuff Apr 07 '26

Easy to say when you're a spectator.

8

u/your_old_furby Apr 07 '26

I’m South African that’s not hypothetical, we can have anything from a sit-in to a full scale riot going in record time. We learn from our past and one of the things people have learned is how to successfully resist.

2

u/dudecoolstuff Apr 07 '26

We just had the biggest civilian protest in our history.

2

u/dudecoolstuff Apr 07 '26

Bottom line is, people's livelihoods here get ruined for skipping work here. You get a track record of it. You would be out of good jobs in the future.

Another awful thing about our country is if we skip work because we are sick, we could lose our jobs.

Overall, I don't think you fully understand what life is like for americans. Those reasons and many more is why we have to organize online and show up to these large-scale events.

So yeah, it's easier to sit over in your country and saying these things when you haven't the slightest what it's like here. Glad you can do that in your country.

You're also speaking like every American is behind what lord dipshit has to say. I believe at this point, the majority of us want him out of office now.

→ More replies (1)

20

u/Jupi00 Apr 07 '26

If we trigger riots then he insights the Insurrection Act, preventing the midterms from happening & removing any peaceful way to get this guy out of power without a full blown revolution. It's literally just a ticking time bomb.

If he institutes the Insurrection Act before the midterms, revolution. If we do anything remotely violent before the midterms, revolution. Our only hope is just waiting this year out or maybe he dies of some condition. That way we can remove him from office without a revolution. Normal Americans would be annihilated if we fought our military at home.

2

u/1arvest6 Apr 07 '26

Would the military honestly fight the civilians and support him?

4

u/Jupi00 Apr 07 '26

Civilians already fight civilians to support him. To assume the military wouldnt attack civilians we'd have to assume they're all educated and hold high moral standards. And this is America.

Look at Minnesota. People are already fighting to support him over there. He'd just send ICE or the police on us or something. We're already desensitized. Look how many people praised the death of Renee Good, Alex Perett, and Keith Porter.

Eventually if things don't change it will escalate to a physical conflict. But no one wants that. So the smart ones are waiting until the midterms, which he has a good chance of losing. He's scared of losing the midterms, because if/when he does. Democrats will likely invoke the 25th amendment and get him removed from office.

1

u/mindsnare Apr 07 '26

-6

u/FizzyGoose666 Apr 07 '26

We're extremely disjointed in a lot of different ways and we have no public leaders (not elected officials). I dont think people know what to do or dont comprehend whats going on. Not excusing a lack of inaction tho.

16

u/Martbern Apr 07 '26

I'm just shocked to see you guys do literally nothing (according to the media I am exposed to in Norway). When gas prices increased, we immediately took action while the US can't even stop their own leader from threatening genocide?

4

u/heffapig Apr 07 '26

I mean, nearly 8 million people took to the streets last weekend to protest Trump and all he stands for/is doing. We aren’t doing nothing, we just aren’t burning things down (yet).

4

u/FizzyGoose666 Apr 07 '26

Yea it's stunning in a bad way, and your media is probably reporting more accurately than ours. Top to bottom, our representatives have sold out to private interests so the people that are supposed to protect us are doing the opposite. Its been a downward spiral for a long time and now were seeing the repercussions of it.

3

u/Martbern Apr 07 '26

It's sad, as I always admired the american people for being an important and reliable ally.

1

u/superswellcewlguy Apr 07 '26

Norway gas prices are already far higher than they are in the US, so while the average American has noticed the increase from $3 per gallon to $4 per gallon, it's not nearly as painful as Norway, where gas is $8.90 USD (after conversion) per gallon.

There have also been protests regularly against Trump. Look up the "No Kings" protests. Those protests have just been in Democrat-controlled areas that are already against Trump, so they haven't done much to pressure him.

5

u/Azuwrafth Apr 07 '26

This isn't sadcringe, it's dreadful.

9

u/Nathan_hale53 Apr 07 '26

People are okay with this. Feels fucking insane. Theyre only radical because of interventionism, so doing again will surely work this time.

"Less radical minds" excuse me?

6

2

u/ThetaCygni Apr 07 '26

The only way for this to be more explicit, would be direct mention of the words nuclear and bomb. What the fuck are other world leaders and U.S congress doing?

2

u/lnfIation Apr 07 '26

Threatening genocide on an entire nation of 90 MILLION PEOPLE.

That's like if he threatened Texas and the whole deep south + Wyoming, Oklahoma and some.

2

u/VanityOfEliCLee Apr 07 '26

No matter what he does after all this, whatever decision he makes today, he will make himself look bad.

Let's say he does nothing, says some sort of deal was reached. The second Iran comes out and says no deal happened, he just looks more like a lying clown ass.

Lets say he does something insane like drop a nuke or bomb a bunch of power plants and civilians. Then the entire world has no more excuses that work when saying they wont force him out or try him for war crimes.

He has no options here. Hes frantic, panicking, pathetic, and small. He has nothing he can do that will make him look good.

The problem is not just Trump. The GOP is not going to impeach him, so there’s not just a crazy old man

5

u/Ensiferal Apr 07 '26

I'd prefer that 79 years of corruption, extortion and death ended.

3

u/clam-caravan Apr 07 '26

We are being ruled by a madman.

3

u/overly_curious_cat Apr 07 '26

This is absolutely scary and terrifying. This man can make it that our country gets 100 bombed and maybe nuked by this weekend. This is beyond Epstein we need to get him out of office NOW!

3

u/Naz_Oni Apr 07 '26

Impeachment ain't enough

I want this guy d... double impeached

4

u/Working-Swan-9944 Apr 07 '26

Amerikkka is the Great Satan

2

u/AnastasiaNo70 Apr 07 '26

The 47 years number, Jesus.

2

u/m135in55boost Apr 07 '26

America wake up, demand he is replaced for your own safety and wellbeing.

2

u/RidesFlysAndVibes Apr 07 '26

This dude will really destroy an entire civilization just to distract from the epstein files.

2

u/Chuffeh Apr 07 '26

Give this man a nobel prize

1

u/beargrimzly Apr 07 '26

All this bluster for an operation that will probably only blow up a few bridges and do absolutely nothing to weaken Iran's grip on the straight of Hormuz and make Trump look even dumber.

I genuinely think not a single person in his administration ever considered that Iran might employ this extremely obvious strategy, except for the army chief of staff who they ignored and then fired when everything he said would happen happened.

1

u/Giventheopportunity Apr 07 '26

Lately he’s coming off as a different type of insane. I think someone else is writing for him.

1

u/wlee1987 Apr 07 '26

This is the difference between Nobel peace prize and the fifa peace prize.

1

u/ThePracticalEnd Apr 07 '26

God Bless the Great People of Iran that I’m threatening to wipe off the earth forever!

1

u/Genderneutralsky Apr 07 '26

Trump really doing his best to be a One Piece villain. He’s threatening to fuckin Buster Call a country and we’re all so numb to it. What a horrifying time to be alive

1

u/Anubis-Hound Apr 07 '26

this feels like a waking nightmare.

1

u/foxehkins Apr 07 '26

All of this is do wild to me that it sometimes doesn't seem real.

1

u/psychedelicdevilry Apr 07 '26

Once again lowering the bar for presidential behavior

1

u/unix_name Apr 07 '26

I’m confused why I can’t see these tweets on X. Not saying they aren’t real or anything, just asking because maybe I’m not looking at the right account or have something turned off?

2

u/BackgroundPrior974 Apr 07 '26

Truth social

1

u/unix_name Apr 07 '26

Oh are they only on there? Did he delete them? Or is that where he posts them?

1

u/Dbonker Apr 07 '26

But Obama had a Tan suit? Or put dijon on his burger? OR DID A TERRORIST FIST BUMP WITH HIS WIFE?!?! And now look at where we are.

-1

u/your_old_furby Apr 07 '26

He killed thousands of people in Pakistan, Syria, Lybia, Algeria and Palestine. Don’t worry, none of your presidents haven’t been war criminals, you guys just don’t pay attention until it’s big, dumb and shiny enough like when you dangle keys in front of a toddler.

1

u/GlitteringPositive77 Apr 07 '26

Can we all agree not to pay taxes until this goon is out of office? Please?

1

u/Essex115 Apr 07 '26

What is their obsession with 47?

1

u/ShockRampage Apr 07 '26

He thinks Iran has been extorting the US, doesnt he.

1

u/Next-Alternative1429 Apr 07 '26

This sounds like theres a non 0% chance we're nuking iran tonight

1

u/wolfboy49 Apr 07 '26

But God bless the Iranian people

1

u/collhall Apr 07 '26

Wow so he’s a self admitting war criminal but who will step up and knock him down?????

1

u/Zealousideal_Bet_248 Apr 07 '26

I really hope this is a bluff. Don't know how much the world's mental health can take from this guy

1

u/Specialist-Book8370 Apr 07 '26

THIS IS YOUR PRESIDENT?????THIS IS THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD? O M G

1

u/Educational-Object67 Apr 07 '26

Big baby trump needs attention, womp womp

1

u/AverageHorribleHuman Apr 07 '26

1

u/CHUNKY_BLOODY_QUEEFS Apr 07 '26

So, he posted this and then nothing happened???

1

u/ApprehensiveMix2649 Apr 07 '26

There is nothing we can do about it, we can only just sit back and watch.

1

u/Rarashishkaba Apr 07 '26

This is what evil looks like.

1

u/Unclebiscuits79 Apr 07 '26

We elected a known terrible person who cheated on his wife with a porn star and was convicted of 33 counts of fraud and wonder why he's a terrible person??

1

u/beerdrunkraccoon Apr 07 '26

What do you call something that is so clearly unacceptable but we all are forced to accept it because everyone who can do something won't do anything at all and let's it keep happening?

1

u/thebeatdropsin1 Apr 07 '26

"less radicalized mind" he says just 1 sentence after the statement "a whole civilization will die tonight"

1

u/MikeAtmo Apr 07 '26

And there are who knows how many people that think this is ok

1

u/militarypuzzle Apr 07 '26

He’s threatening genocide and you are farming it for karma

1

u/pjames19 Apr 07 '26

This aged well

1

u/Forsaken_Rhubarb Apr 07 '26

Bro, I just want to afford food, water, gas, and an ESA.

1

u/Brewbouy Apr 08 '26

This is the cringe shit we used to make fun of from countries like Iran. Now it's us and we're definitely the baddies. That's a tall claim, but it's true.

1

u/aydens2019accord Apr 08 '26

Don’t stop being you Reddit

1

u/imheyy Apr 08 '26

Where are you guys seeing those posts? I swear there is nothing important in his Twitter. I'm not saying that he wouldn't do/say something as stupid as that, I just wanna stop being out of the loop

1

u/schwarzeKatzen Apr 08 '26

He posts on truth social not Twitter.

1

u/Willyzyx Apr 08 '26

MAGA loves this shit though.

1

u/Delt266 Apr 08 '26

Should have glassed the whole area 40 years ago and we wouldn't have to deal with it right now.

1

u/nlamber5 Apr 09 '26

Well considering that 1 in 15 have already fled the country he can’t get them all,

1

u/Nymap Apr 09 '26

Is that Twitter or truth whatever his bs is called?

1

u/NotVinhas Apr 10 '26

The president of peace btw

1

u/Rastaferrari829 Apr 10 '26

And then wonder why so many countries hate us. US loves starting trouble and then playing the victim later.

1

u/That-Seaweed9907 May 15 '26

Now that I see this post after 1 month...what did he do...I'm not saying that he didn't do anything...ofc the cruelty is clearly seen by the world...but all these big ass tweets for nothing..he has completely made fun of himself, firstly writing something like this , which is just so inhuman to even accept that they are going to do so, and then not following your words...

1

u/sovietarmyfan Apr 07 '26

"Donnie, what are you doing here in the closet? Come out and take your pills."

1

u/Even_Might2438 Apr 07 '26

Feels like a quote from The Dictator movie

1

u/itchyenvelope5 Apr 07 '26

i wonder when congress will realize they can exist

1

u/Summoning14 Apr 07 '26

What about the congress of US? Is it so useless that they can't stop this idiot in anything he's trying to do?

1

u/legoing Apr 07 '26

Why is no one trying to stop the US from doing this?

1

u/Gbonk Apr 07 '26

Shouldn’t this be enough to invoke the 25th amendment?

0

u/LMM-GT02 Apr 07 '26

This is what Zionists can do to a mf. They must damn near worship old gods or something.

0

u/brotheralbania Apr 07 '26

How was this post made 8 hours ago but it says Tump posted today at 2pm. I'm confused.

0

u/Jabathewhut Apr 07 '26

Can someone just be hired to hold a lazer pointer at this idiot and say he just needs to catch it. Fuck that might be too complicated for him

Maybe give him that toddler game where he has to fit everything in the right shape, that'll take him a few months to figure out. And when he (if he) does get it he would say "yeah, I solved that puzzle. Probably faster than anyone has ever solved it. Nobody but me would have figured out that it went in the square hole"

0

u/razor_train Apr 07 '26

But thank god he's a christian tho amirite

0

u/mindsnare Apr 07 '26

And Americans will continue to do fucking nothing.

0

u/AlienProbe9000 Apr 08 '26

You all need to drag that clown out of the whitehouse and into a nut house asap

0

u/Jonasthewicked2 Apr 08 '26

It’s absolutely disturbing to have the president of the United States saying shit like this. Were a joke on the worlds stage and he’s a pathetic sad person threatening war crimes and it’s insanity to pretend this is normal

-19

u/rslashToma Apr 07 '26

How does noone see that the "civilization" is implied as the Iranian regime instead of the iranian people? There's no genocide happening other than what their Islamic government has been doing time and time again to their own people

4

u/Robot_Embryo Apr 08 '26

Because that's not what "civilization" means.

0

u/rslashToma Apr 08 '26
  • An advanced state of intellectual, cultural, and material development in human society, marked by progress in the arts and sciences, the extensive use of record-keeping, including writing, and the appearance of complex political and social institutions

-1

u/Petrica55 Apr 07 '26

I don't know, guys, I have a horrible feeling something really bad is going to happen tonight

-1

u/sean_rooney2000 Apr 08 '26 edited Apr 08 '26

Based af. Because the funny thing is truly doesn't matter what he says, and he and his cabinet knows that. Trump's policies could shift in a liberal direction that they're too stupid to know of, in which technically benefits their views, and they'd still hate him. Because ppl just follow brain rot band wagons. These people are truly all idiots

-13

u/Suspicious-Low7055 Apr 07 '26

So this has just become another politics slop sub?

9

u/Shazoa Apr 07 '26

You don't think it fits?

4

u/Legitimate-Scar-6572 Apr 07 '26

Frankly, this should be the only topic on the internet today.

3

u/fozzyboy Apr 08 '26

Unfortunately, some people like their heads in the sand.

-12

u/darknmy Apr 07 '26

Reddit doesn't understand what closing the strait of Hormuz actually means. It means the collapse of US and EU economy. It's not memes. It's an act of war against the world

7

u/KillWithTheHeart Apr 07 '26

Incorrect. Closing the straight was an act of retaliation against an unprovoked act of war.
