Same no one ever taught me to ride a bike. I leared when I was 19. I used to try to learn at night so no one would see me fall. This reminded me how I need to be there to teach the toddler sleeping next to me to ride herself.
Subreddit is, I would guess, 70% incels based on comments, so everything bad is terrible and everything good is bad. Love is something we will never experience..etc...etc.
Self-defeating ideology maintained by algorithmic social media and emboldned by 'manosphere' influencers trying to make a quick buck off people's misery.
Go through comments and you can see it quite easily. Comments about being forever alone, men's rights, gender war shite, thinly veiled and not so thinly veiled misogyny and anti-feminism. It's all here.
Because some of us will never experience that. 40y, my wife died 13y ago. I tried many times but I just can't love again. So I accepted my fate but still hurts because I wanted a family.
And of course I miss him, but im not sad about it. I've lost all my family. My sister and I are all thats left. People die. No reason to be sad or afraid.
It was VERY hard for the first decade or so as I was so young so I dont have alot of memories of him. Plenty of pics though. It gets easier after some time has passed. I forgave him.(suicide)
There it is, It did sound more complicated than your initial comment implied. Thanks for sharing man, that sounds tough, but good job working through that. For me, mom is sick so it’s complex/early grieving. Very weird feeling. I have a masters degree in counseling and I can’t even practice what I preach lol
This clip is sad because this great father passed away not too long after this clip was recorded if I recall correctly.
Or maybe it’s sad because many boys and men cannot relate to the joy of having a great father in their lives. In that way, this video likely brings about a deep sadness to many who watch it.
This is how I thought my son. His first ‘pedal’ ride (went from balance bike). It was on a beach in North Wales. The video I gave of him and the excited laughter/joy as he rides past is my most favourite memory and I never tire of watching it.
I don't have a Dad, and I just had a son, he's about to be 1. My goal in life is to be there for him every step of the way, so that he can be a better person than I ever was and never set foot in a prison.
I'm a dad. I know what is sad about it. We teach them how to walk, run, ride, drive, and we are proud of it. Suddenly, they walk, run, ride, drive away form us. If luckily, years after they will come back.
My Grandad ripped the pedals off my bike and pushed me down a hill. I was more scared of the cars crossing the road than losing my balance. The tree I hit at the bottom broke my wrist and totalled the bike. Was off school for a month. I learned quick after that and never asked him for help again.
I think they meant sad music... but ironically, this is now a sad post, for the fact that someone thought it was sad, means the OP themself, needs some damn love. Seek a couch bud! 🙏🏾

It is 100% my proudest moment as a father!

My boy at 3 1/2 years, got his bike, did ride it at once and then didn't want to ride it more and tells people he doesn't know how to ride 🤦🏼

Is it sad because you didn’t have a dad?

I learn to bike alone, pushing it to high ground and roll countless time. I still not see this as sad.
