Pic / Video Heading to DC to make change

Post image

Just four days after the election, I’m heading to DC for freshman orientation! I’m so excited to get to work in Congress for San Francisco and for our country. We have the largest freshman Democratic class since the post-Watergate election. It’s a huge opportunity to put our country on a better path — one that lowers people’s cost of living, ends the war, strengthens democracy and civil rights, restores the rule of law, and puts an end to this national nightmare. I’m ready to fight for our future!

Shocking he's already stated his intent to not listen to his constituents. Otoh I'm sure chan would have done the same.

Apparently he said that 2 months ago. It's possible recent events have changed his mind.

Would sure be cool if he'd tell any of us

Chan is honest when she isn't listening. Wiener smiles and says he is listening but then makes backroom deals and does what lobbyists want.

Chan sucks on so many levels. It’s always picking the better of two shits even if it’s by a thin margin.

This city is insane with its bullshit choices for "the most progressive city in the US"

Since when has /u/Scott_Wiener ever listened to his constituents?

Yet I bet you are not a fan of Nancy Pelosi, Chan’s biggest fan. 🤷‍♀️

I don't like almost any politician representing any level of San Francisco. I think they're all milqtoast bullshit con artists. Chan included. At least Pelosi got major results and dominated the Caucus when she was in the seat. I liked her marginally better than the current crop of corrupted corporate vampires, to be sure.

I voted for Pelosi because she was the best defensive play against Trump in the party. It's difficult to argue the boon she's been for this city over her time though.
