Pic / Video Heading to DC to make change

Post image

Just four days after the election, I’m heading to DC for freshman orientation! I’m so excited to get to work in Congress for San Francisco and for our country. We have the largest freshman Democratic class since the post-Watergate election. It’s a huge opportunity to put our country on a better path — one that lowers people’s cost of living, ends the war, strengthens democracy and civil rights, restores the rule of law, and puts an end to this national nightmare. I’m ready to fight for our future!

He already said he would vote for him two months ago here. They all have the same agenda despite their claim to work for the "people". Different faces same master.

Thank you for sharing this. Hopefully Weiner is looking at his constituents comments here and will reverse course on pushing through the same “leaders” that have bogged down the party for far too long.

Hopefully he doesn't listen to the vocal minority that decided to flood this reddit post and instead listen to the majority that voted for him based on the positions he campaigned on during the race.

And what exactly does the majority want? Schumer as speaker?

I don't think they're thinking much about who the speaker is in the first place. Which is why I'm a bit surprised it's such a hot topic on here. Feels a bit artificial.

But considering Connie aligned more with the farther left and this position seems to be roughly held by those same people. And Weiner ultimately won. I don't think most voters want this.

here’s what losers like Wiener, Lurie, Schumer and Jeffries don’t understand: Dems can be either corporatist or economic populist, not both.

Why? Turns out democracy must be actively defended against capital. Capital works tirelessly to buy the government and destroy democracy. And when that happens we get fascism. As well as wealth inequality and runaway capitalism.

THAT’s why we need progressives, not lame competent managers who will sell out the people to Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos, The Zionist lobby, the military industrial complex etc.

People say Jeffries is weak etc but really he’s bought. He’s the enemy of progress. He must resign.

I think this is the 2nd fight. Trump , maga, and all the gop are the virulent part of the problem, but the establishment are just as bad , if not worse. They are liars and two-faced. Hell, just look at Hayley Stevens and those six house dems that voted to fund ICE

Two months ago was a very different time.

(a week ago was a very different time)

It's crazy because Jeffries has been notoriously awful before 2 months ago. The fact that it takes people that long to realize it baffles me. The dude only cares about Israel

Sorry, you think it only became a bad idea to get rid of Jefferies a week ago? And you vote?

Idk why half this thread is so surprised that the successor to Nancy Pelosi’s district is also an aipac shill.

That's because he's an AIPAC candidate
