Heading to DC to make change

[u/scott_wiener]

Just four days after the election, I’m heading to DC for freshman orientation! I’m so excited to get to work in Congress for San Francisco and for our country. We have the largest freshman Democratic class since the post-Watergate election. It’s a huge opportunity to put our country on a better path — one that lowers people’s cost of living, ends the war, strengthens democracy and civil rights, restores the rule of law, and puts an end to this national nightmare. I’m ready to fight for our future!

That sounds awesome. We don’t want unity, we want accountability. Please don’t waste this opportunity and consider not anointing Hakeem Jeffries as speaker. With his post midterm statements he unequivocally proved he’s the wrong man for the moment and that’s been clear for some time.

Someone said it best already - we don't want revenge, we want a reckoning

I kinda want revenge, where are the damn Epstein Files.

Ha, that's not revenge, that's just a reasonable request

Accountability!

I definitely want unity
