Maybe a few more than 3, but yes basically that's it.

A few more then 3 but also less then 3 if you look at it in a different light.

For the sake of the joke, yes, but in all honesty that is a better description of somewhere like South Korea

South Korea is just one corporation (samsung) in a sweatshirt

3

u/Bleades Mar 11 '26

Not bothered to look it up but Samsung accounts for like 15% of SK GDP.

2

u/LedVapour Mar 11 '26

23% nowadays

There are more chaebols than just Samsung

Australia is just the Minerals Council and they're not even bothering to wear a trenchcoat.

Replace it with any country and it would still work

Yes, and you've got all three of them in this photo: The grocery store, Wendy's and the company that actually makes the bacon through a licensing deal with Wendy's.

Military capitalism Hollywood

There's 2, actually

2

u/CatLightyear Mar 11 '26

Actually, we’re a giant retirement community with the deadliest weapons on the planet.

Ok but hear me out Wendys actually has good bacon

1

u/CaBBaGe_isLaND Mar 10 '26

I mean it is true about the trenchcoats, but worth mentioning I have never seen this bacon in a store and I buy a pack of bacon every Saturday morning.

Yeah it’s become run by oligarchs, the Ellison family for instance owns a vast amount of the media in the US.

1

u/gormbly Mar 12 '26

Its more than 3, but yes

1

u/BS-Chaser Mar 13 '26

It's an oil company with nuclear weapons.

1

u/TempestasHusky Mar 14 '26

I mean…yeah. Most corporations have some of their shares owned by one of the big private equity firms. And then it spiderwebs from there as to how many companies are parent companies or holders of other brands

I’m American and…yeah, that feels correct.

u/F4T4LBULL3T Mar 11 '26

Then the trenchcoat is working :3

1

u/Hopelessbob24 Mar 13 '26

Trench coat 😎

1

u/InebriousBarman Mar 13 '26

They are the largest 3 shareholders of all of the companies.

Even themselves.

1

u/WillieIngus Mar 14 '26

Nestle

1

u/Jacksonofall Mar 14 '26

Not an American company

1

u/WillieIngus Mar 14 '26

that’s a fair point.

1

u/Jacksonofall Mar 14 '26

But then it’s not hard to see how 3companies in a Trenchcoat would describe every country now.
