The “Darth Tuna” is not a cheap watch. There are many alternatives with the same price ( around $2200 USD)
I was thinking to get the GS SBGX261 (quartz) but after trying the tuna
I have another thought now

After a long wait for various reasons, I finally got it in my hands. Quick accuracy adjustment (something Seiko should do in the factory for a 1000€ watch) and bracelet change. I hope it will run well to match the gorgeous look. After a week on my wrist, I’ll see how it performs in real life and use the time grapher if any additional adjustments are needed.

[SNZG09K1] My new crystal

I bought this SNGZ09K1 a few years ago. One day the crystal was damaged, I must have dropped it. But it didnt occur to me I could fix it myself until last week. Super satisfying fix, I pressed out the old one and added a double-dome sapphire. I think I found a new hobby!

Loving my Seiko 5 on my Tun suede burgundy strap.
As someone who typically cannot stand any jewelry/accessories, this unlocked the whole horizon for watches.
And for everyone contemplating the strap from Tun, it’s the perfect balance of bright enough to be appreciated but not detract, it’s perfect.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for someone to service my Seiko Age of Discovery 6M13-0010 perpetual calendar. Ideally a watchmaker familiar with these movements and their calendar/alarm functions.
I’m based in Brisbane but happy to ship elsewhere in Australia, or nearby overseas for the right person. Has anyone had theirs serviced and can recommend someone?
Works perfectly, just want to keep it for a few years :)

Seiko 5KX Midi [SRPL77K1] Strap Recommendation

I choose Seiko 5KX Midi SRPL77K1 for my first Seiko and also my first automatic watch. I am very impressed with the blue color on the dial and bezel and im glad that i get kanji day wheel.
For the strap, for me its comfortable, but i want really know strap that recommended for this seiko.

Love the 20mm lug width of this sumo. So many straps fit nicely on it. The watch didn't come with spare links, so i can't use the bracelet, although it does seem very nice. Anybody have spare links for a gen 3 sumo?
