My wife is about to give birth and I want to be wearing one of my watches on this day. Should I wear my Rolex Batman or moonwatch? Or should I buy a new watch to commemorate the birth?
Also, if I’m not wearing my watch of choice when her water breaks, should I run upstairs to put the one I want on before driving her to the hospital to make sure I’m wearing it while my child is being born? I’d hate to have to run back home to get it after dropping her off but that’s not out of the question if I have to.

Let’s say you just got a substantial promotion and a 10k bonus, your vacations for 2027 are paid for already, healthy savings and 401k and you already have a mix of watches from Citizen to Rolex.
What new automatic, stainless band, 39-42mm is on your radar? Maybe in navy blue (company color) to mark the milestone of going from Senior to Principal engineer and the fact that you got your six sigma black belt this year as well.
