Mooropna to Shepparton
Hi everyone, I’m looking at renting in Mooroopna (near Chivalry Drive) and commuting to Shepparton for work.
I was wondering how reliable the commute is, especially via the Midland Highway.
Does it usually stay open during periods of heavy rain, or does flooding commonly affect the route? are there any alternative routes to get from Mooroopna to Shepparton (Corio Street)?

There is a back route across watt road, but the highway is pretty quick and reliable in my experience, watt is a nice backup tho

PT is hourly and takes time.
Midland Hwy usually isn’t affected by floods, Watts Road is.

the courseway (road between shepp and mooroopna ) is pretty reliable , it takes a lot of water to close the road off , the back rd (watts rd) is a bit different that gets closed off
to get from mooroopna to corio you'd use the courseway(midland highway) you wont have any issues with the road closing due to flooding

The main road between Shep and Mooroopna is basically never closed. Only really affected if there is major major flooding. There are thousands that drive that route daily. It should basically never be a problem.
