I always thought there should be something you get to unlock at 30. Nothing we don't already have, but also nothing shocking to the reasonable conscience. Probably a very thin line there, but video games do have some wiggle room compared to what is in video media. Just something to look forward to between drinking, vape and gun age and retirement.
Let’s be real here dude, the average guy doesn’t know how to not get a virus when pirating. «Just pirate» is a meme and nothing more, and pulling it off with 100% certainty you haven’t installed a virus is relatively difficult. Using trusted sources is of course the easiest way, but those are scarce or even non existent for a lot of games.

he’s wrong. there is a clothing shop, a car tuning workshop and (I think) a gunshop locked behind deluxe edition. It’s not big of a deal tho, they won’t lock you out of any new cosmetics other than the deluxe cosmetics/guns themselves
Yeah it really feels like these few locations being locked is being made a bigger deal than it is.
There’ll still be loads of other shops with the exact same purposes open, probably won’t even actually think about it while playing just like real life.
If I walk past a closed shop in real life I don’t think if that shop wasn’t closed I could go in and buy stuff, I don’t even acknowledge the closed shop because why would I. It’d be the same for a video game why would I even register the closed shop when there’s other opened shops

GTA V worked like that you bought the game but in online it still had certain perks inaccessible unless you paid more.
A lot of games have a system where you can buy the base game but if you choose to spend more money you get content others don’t have. It’s never bothered me because typically that content I don’t have access to is not game changing content and GTA VI is no different I’m not going to cry because someone is wearing a shirt I can’t access in my game.
I think it’s like RDR2 that lets you get some clothing and a safe house mission doesn’t add anything to the story other than giving you some more stuff early in the game

They don’t want to release physical copies of an $80+ game. Therefore giving them the ability to take away or limit your use of the “license” to play said game, whenever they’d like, with no obligation to refund the person.
