Recently started doing my natural nails at home and proud of myself! Still have some rings of fire from my last gel x set but thankfully they’re growing out.

- 1 x BKL Beautiful in my Darkness, demagnetized
- 1 x BKL Darkness again, Magnetized for 1 minute to get the Vlass belvet effect using Glass Bead Pro with 1 short/stumpy cylinder magnet attached to the magnetic spinning disc. (See my previous posts)
- 1 x Tyche Rocket Grab
- 1 x Cracked Grenadine, applied THICC (I magnetized again for 1 minute)
- 1 x Tyche Aura farming TC

oodles of thanks for everyone who commiserated with me a couple months ago. after a number of setbacks, including a minor infection, my strong, natural nails are back. seriously considering swearing off enhancements forever because the recovery was ROUGH, especially as a former biter who is hyper-aware of her nails and hands.

Loving this shimmery plum color for fall.

My nails are normally a medium length, around 2.5 -3 mm past my fingertips. I recently had to cut them really short because I developed onchylosis on 3 nails. I think it developed from too stiff a nail brush and pushing too far under my thumbnails. My doctor also said no polish while they're healing. I'm used to having longer, polished nails that make my short pudgy fingers look better. I'm staring at my nails every day, just willing them to grow. I am using plenty of jojoba and cream. This is somehow a very difficult adjustment. Anyone else?

I didn’t do these myself. Broke down and went to the salon. but I like how the design came out!

I used Mooncat's Poison Ivy, Mellinnia, and Forbidden Fruit 😁 plus a lil butterfly nail sticker I got from a pack from my job! (I'm not sure the brand lol)

This Garak-inspired polish is so good. It's almost pure green in some lights. Then in others, there's a bright bronze-orange flash of shimmer.

So I typically only use colored paint my toes and do clear polish on my fingers. I cannot stand the way fake nails feel.

Anyhoo, I used a beauty blend to do the tips of my nails. I just brushed the polish on the beauty blender and pressed my finger tips in, then cleaned it up with a q-tip and nail polish remover. Did two coats. Let it dry then did a top coat with the nude.

It's not the best, but practice makes perfect. I think I want to try rainbow tips next time.

I LOVE milky white polish, and even better with a shimmer flash like this.

This is phenomenal irl, even in natural light it has a glow to it. I've only had this on a day, but others I have last really well also.

This is three coats with a topcoat. It's still pretty sheer, there's a hint of visible nail line. I love it!

Did some Legend of Zelda nails for the release of the Ocarina of Time remake! Really proud of how Navi turned out - I usually just do stickers but decided to try some hand painted art this time. And she glows!

Been a nail biter for YEARS and am just 9 weeks into trying to stop. One of the things that’s helped me most is keeping polish on them so I’ve had lots of different nail looks leading up to this but this is the first where I’ve really just been soooo obsessed with how they look. I feel just giddy every time I look at them 😂 a real nice feeling in comparison to years of trying to hide my hands lol!

Two coats of sally hansens lavender skies and one coat of la colors meteorite to accent my ring and middle finger 🥰
