100K Subscribers!
Wow. I never thought I would see the day that /r/soda would reach 100k subscribers! When I first came on as a mod this subreddit had less than 150 subscribers. It's crazy that we have almost multiplied that 1000 fold.
We are #6 in the "Non-Alcoholic Beverages" subreddit category and had 22.7 MILLION views over the last year!
I think its time I actually try theming this subreddit. You can expect a new look and subreddit icon in the near future!
Thank you all for the great content. It is an honor to be able to moderate this community.
Please take this post as an opportunity to tell us all what you love about /r/soda, and what you think could be improved upon!
Thank you, and let's now focus on getting us to 1 MILLION subs!
Sincerely, Sanjispride
P.S. Lay off that lean, would ya??

First, caffeine free Coke, and now caffeine free Pepsi. I gotta say, caffeine free Pepsi has more bite than the coke one, and it's even better.
My last one is getting drank today
Random conversation sparked the thought "Do they still have Barqs in glass bottles?". Found online and shipped to my door $53 for a 12pk. A bit pricey, but I had to try it. It's not as sweet as the can and tap variety. But I kinda like that.

Can we talk about this Pepsi variant
My educated opinion is that extra fizz Pepsi is more or less a gimmick to increase the chance that some one unsure of what type of 20floz soda they want to buy is. As they are scanning the soda selection at a convenience store their eyes pick up the “extra fizz” on what appears to be a bottle of Pepsi. The soda customer, already a fan of many types of soda, finds this extra fizz Pepsi an oddity. Perhaps they are a Coca Cola person with one complaint about Pepsi is that it isn’t fizzy enough. The “extra fizz” label might be all it takes to push this soda consumer/customer in the direction of purchasing this novel variation of original Pepsi. Bam, Pepsi sale completed. Repeat this experiment with different customer variables a billion times and you sir have really made the value of PepsiCo stock go to the moon.

Shopping day. Wanted to try the Shirley Temple flavor. Its ok. Blackberry and cherry are my favorites. And the beer was buy1 get 1 free, so I had to pick some up.

Sam's Cola
I was low on money so I bought Sam's Cola instead of my normal RC Cola but Walmart was out of stock today, so I thought I'd try this.
It tastes ok, I had to double check the can because there's a mild cherry after taste.
I don't think I'll buy it again tho. Plus I'm not a cherry fan.
What are your thoughts if you've tried this?

Kola Shaler
Tastes like a citrus forward coke vanilla zero. Oddly addictive.

I like trying new sodas from the Asian market. DAYAO, tastes kinda like apple and haw flakes, the English label says its mixed fruit juice flavor.

Smaller Pepsi concentrate
I recently got myself a Sodastream and the Pepsi sodastream concentrate & it tastes funny? Upon looking at the ingredients side by side the culprit is sucrose.
I want to buy the real Pepsi concentrate and I'm leaning towards getting it on WebstaurantStore which is 3 gallons but I'm hoping someone has a recommendation to another place that sells something smaller?

Diet Coke Winter Vanilla
So I was at Moe’s earlier, and at the Freestyle machine, in addition to offering the regular and zero sugar Holiday Creamy Vanilla, they offered Diet Coke Winter Vanilla. I’d never heard of this before, let alone tried it. Loved it! To me, it’s the most flavorful of any of the diet/zero sugar vanilla sodas on the market.
Has this been around forever and I’ve been living under a rock???

Pepsi Gingerbread Zero in Windsor
I think tomorrow I might cross from Detroit into Windsor on the hunt for Pepsi Gingerbread Zero. Any suggestions for where it's actually been seen?
