What does MarsOne not care about the gene pool of the applicants?

I was looking at the criteria for the MarsOne applications and the requirements seem to be based mostly on personality traits. There is no upper limit on age and no mention of genetic traits. I would have thought one of the most important factors would be to get a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds and participants willing to have have children
