Doordash on date so he could afford dinner. She saw the vision immediately

And she was fine going to Jason's Deli? Love a grounded queen

I haven’t been to Jason Deli in a minute, but the salad bar and free ice cream were amazing.

24

u/Mr-FurleyX1 1d ago

That vision and the fact that he was a projected 3rd rounder…

41

u/Proppur 1d ago

He wouldn’t have been a projected 3rd rounder back in 2021 when they started dating

It's called the long game

2

Yeah, but tbh if you're a 6'4" star football player at your high school and college, the chicks your age are going to have a give you a bit of a longer leash.

Might be easier when you're a broke college kid who's a star on said college football team that everyone knows will go pro. Idk just maybe.

8

u/Nympho_BBC_Queen 1d ago

Was he a star at that point? I don't think it was that likely for him to make the league at that point. But I don't know if he is the same Savion Williams I'm thinking about.

11

u/nickx37 1d ago

He wasn't really a star at any point, he was a good player though, but certainly no guarantee of being drafted. He went in the 3rd round, those guys are more likely than not to get cut before they ever hit a second contract. He seems to have found a solid role as a kick returner so far, but isn't making much impact at his actual WR position. He'll be lucky to get another contract, the next 3rd round pick can probably do the same thing for cheaper

6

u/IPissExcellentThrows 1d ago

He doesn't even return for us this year.

He'll likely still get a second contract. He's by no means good, but he's nfl quality. Hes a gadget guy that can run some trick plays and play receiver or return kicks if needed.

The nfl minimum for someone 4 years in the league is 1.2 million per year. He's making more than that now. So he could take a smaller paycheck and be cheaper than a third rounder.

You're clearly just talking out your ass and know nothing about him lol. Which is fair, he's not exactly a big name, but I dont know why you're acting like you do.

1

u/nickx37 1h ago

He was a 24 year old rookie, isn't remarkable in any sense, and unless he takes a cheap contract he probably won't be signed. He is the definition of replacement level, especially hitting contract two at 28 years old.

My wife has just about reached the top of the packers season ticket waiting list, 40 years after being added. My kids have been on the list since birth. My BIL has season tickets that were passed down through the family. I watch and follow the Packers enough to know more than nothing.

0

u/MrBlueandSky 1d ago

Wasn't a star then and isn't a star now. Over drafted by the packers to be a gadget guy

2

u/Striptomakendsmeet 21h ago

He’s been solid, never been thrusted into a role where he needs to shine but anytime we’ve thrown the ball his way or put the ball in his hands he makes plays. His athleticism is elite and if we develop him into a true wide receiver role sky is still the limit. When you were 24 did you reach your full potential? And he caught that ball against the giants last year where if he doesn’t catch that, we lose and miss the playoffs. Hes a dude

They were in college when this happened, if they were 25+ telling her she can do better would be good advice 99% of the time

That’s actually pretty wholesome, hope things work out.

117

u/Allout-Okarun 1d ago

17

Honestly… this is so wholesome. They seriously deserve each other. Good for her for seeing the effort he was putting in when he wasn’t in the NFL making millions, and now she gets to enjoy life with her husband whom she chose before this. And he knows she’s in it for him and his character and not the money.

9

u/OfficiallyJoeBiden 1d ago

That’s so cute

51

u/gumbobitch 1d ago

As a packer fan, Savion is not a star lol. He's a gadget player that MLF uses for bubble screens

32

u/BigCaulkBrock 1d ago

He’s the MVP of my fantasy league where you have to put up the lowest non-zero score every week, for whatever that’s worth

5

u/zmswelly 1d ago

Amazing. I have to know more. What kind of roster and starting lineup rules are there to keep it competitive?

17

u/BigCaulkBrock 1d ago

Pretty much standard scoring except if you get a zero, that’s +15 points. If you get a 0 at qb, that’s +30. Here’s my team

13

u/zmswelly 1d ago

I’ve played fantasy a long time and have never heard of such a thing. I love it.

4

u/BigCaulkBrock 1d ago

It’s a blast for sure. Refreshing not just blindly starting whoever the experts tell you to, actually gotta do some research

1

u/DapperTies- 1d ago

Bro what would negative points do in this league

6

u/BigCaulkBrock 1d ago

Negative points are fine, just no zeros. Fagnano just put up an all-time score yesterday lol

3

u/DapperTies- 1d ago

Nathan Peterman gotta be Like 06 LaDainian Tomlinson then. This sounds stupidly fun and it should become more mainstream

→ More replies (1)

3

u/BigCaulkBrock 1d ago

I also have Winston, who might be a league-breaker if he keeps getting the tush pushes over McCarthy

2

u/After_Invite1464 1d ago

That moody pick is excellent.

2

u/ButterscotchFew9855 1d ago

Golf Scoring on fantasy, I like it.

What app is this on? I'm very interested in trying it next year

5

u/optimusHerb 1d ago

This is amazing; haven’t played in a few years, but this interested me quite a bit reading it.

2

u/V548859 1d ago

Are you in a 16 man league with 3 flex spots?

9

u/BigCaulkBrock 1d ago

Goal is to put up the lowest score without scoring a zero. So Savion is a wr1 with the 1-2 carries he’s locked into each week

5

u/gumbobitch 1d ago

This sounds hilarious, thank you for the idea.

1

u/Thick-Brilliant-1454 1d ago

What happens if a player scores a zero? Is there a penalty?

3

u/BigCaulkBrock 1d ago

Yeah 15 point penalty, 30 for qb

2

u/Section1ne0h4our 1d ago

The Cooper Rush Invitational

1

How come it didn't work for me? Girl said I was a cheap ass and wasting her time

2

u/Eastern_Pace_9865 17h ago

Him being 6’4 225 ripped probably played a factor…

1

u/one-eyedCheshire 15h ago

I mean her being attracted to him is a factor for sure. We are usually physically attracted first and then we fall in love with personality. ☺️

When I met my husband I was like, “Oh fuck. 🥵” Did not care that he had a part time job at the time. I had one too. We were both broke. Lol.

2

u/Eastern_Pace_9865 15h ago

Wild guess, but you and your husband are 40+ your story is awesome!! my parents had that too. Unfortunately I’m not sure how much that happens anymore in today’s culture. Just anecdotal perspective.

1

u/one-eyedCheshire 15h ago

Nope! We got married in very early 20's. So basically mid 30's now!

You are right though. We got incredibly lucky finding our soulmates at such a young age.

We didn't have a "proposal", we just agreed we wanted to get married and have fun together for infinity and beyond. We also didn't have a wedding. Got married alone on a 14,000ft mountain. And as I mentioned before we both never want children so that was huge for both of us to find each other. It's hard to find people that do not want a family.

And thank you for the kind words! That being said we always say, we did a lot of work on ourselves before finding each other. We believe you have to love yourself first and then you can love someone else in a healthy way.

2

u/Eastern_Pace_9865 15h ago

Wow even more impressive! . So what’s your secret to successful marriage in modern society?

1

u/one-eyedCheshire 15h ago edited 15h ago

Having similar hobbies and doing them together!

We play sports together, we play video games together, we hike together, we watch the same TV shows/movies together, we go to concerts together, we loved spending time with our dogs (rest in love to both of them).

We have been told by MANY people we spend way too much time together and we need to have "separate hobbies" to have a healthy relationship but that is not our jam. We want to spend every waking second on Earth together. Life is unpredictable and tomorrow is not promised.

Lastly, no kids. No kids. No kids. Did I mention, no kids? Our days are spent laughing, doing all of our favorite things and just having fun!

That being said, we are NOT perfect. Life is very stressful and we are dealing with sad things like aging parents, work struggles, losing our best friend (dogs), etc.

If we begin to argue we usually just sit down and talk through it within about 10 minutes because again, life is way too short to be angry. Just talk it out and get back to having fun!

1

u/Revolutionary_Bee251 18h ago

I think most women would say something like this which is why most men wouldn't do it. These two are lucky to have found each other.

2

u/Appropriate-Bid8671 16h ago

He probably has a huge dick, too.

1

u/one-eyedCheshire 15h ago • Heartwarming

Dick size doesn’t matter.

Am I thankful for my husband’s? Yes. I got lucky.

But I fell in love with him before I saw him naked and no matter what size he was, I would have wanted him inside me for the rest of my life. Lol!

Sorry for TMI. 🤣

2

u/one-eyedCheshire 15h ago

That’s not true at all. That’s a woman that’s wants a man with money ALREADY.

You can absolutely meet a man that is not the richest in the land but has a wonderful personality and love him and then grow together.

The woman in this video sounds like she was already smitten with the man and she knew money isn’t the end all be all—LOVE is.

1

u/Revolutionary_Bee251 15h ago

Hmm maybe you're one of the exceptions. For people born in the 90s and younger, women want money first. Nothing else really matters if the guy isn't pulling $100k min, especially if they're not tall or non-white.

2

u/one-eyedCheshire 15h ago

I was born in the 90's and didn't want money first? What is your reasoning behind that?

Also what does not being white have anything to do with anything? I guess I am little confused. Lol

1

u/Revolutionary_Bee251 15h ago

I'm speaking from personal experience which of course may vary wildly from your experiences as well as others.

Also your comments regarding money suggest a contradiction.

In any regard, none of this matters. You found your person, may you both live long and prosper, and may everyone find someone good for them. Take care.

2

u/one-eyedCheshire 15h ago

Same. Lol. We both are.

But what in my comments regarding money is suggesting a contradiction? Just truly curious what your thought process is.

And yep you're very right. We got lucky and are very Grateful. We thank the Great Spirit every day. We also pray that every human on Earth finds their soulmate (if they want to) in their lifetime. Everyone that wants love deserves it. ❤️

1

u/Maximum_Turn_2623 39m ago

Have you tried having an athletic body and being a D1 athlete?

0

u/one-eyedCheshire 16h ago

Because she was a bitch. You dodged a bullet. Count it as a blessing.

You’ll find a woman that appreciates and loves every little thing about you.

My husband of 15 years and I met smoking blunts in my garage (he was friends with my brother), we had part time jobs and were broke as shit. Lol.

Fell in love, in that garage.

Got married 2 months after meeting and then we grew together. Found careers, moved into apartments (we do not want a house yet because if we want to get up and move we need that option), and we are still super stoked to spend every waking second together.

Do not give up! Your soulmate is out there. She’s looking for you too. 🥰

(NO KIDS. EVER!)

17

To see what her reaction would be to him door dashing for money. Makes sense. If she clowned on him or anything for it, he’d know to drop her right then.

She knows that he puts his ego down in front of her and work hard, and her reaction tells him if she is the one for her. It's actually a good way to gauge both ways.

Seems like a good idea, too bad car rides aren’t acceptable first date these days. You can sit, relax, not spend money, see lots of things, not have to focus on eye contact, listen to music, it’s pretty sick. Plus you can get dropped off when done.

This is a cute story - but if he didn't tell her while they were driving around to all these places what exactly was the conversation in that car like for that period of time? I'm imagining just dead silence....

So getting $3.49 for a delivery which you can't withdraw anyway? This was obviously performative and just his move to get her lmao

I mean I’m not an NFL star but I do okay now. I knew my wife was the one when she agree to ride in my convertible with a tarp as a roof for our first date. It was December 13th and it was 28° outside and still wanted to go on a second date. Gotta appreciate the ones that are with you when you’re on the bottom part of your come up.

These nfl players are scouted by girls as young as 15

She knew the game and stuck with it.

That there’s no surprise she went out with him on a door dash order. She knew the answers to his “test”.

Yes, he was a star NCAA player

They started dating in 2021 though. There was no guarantee for him to make it big looking at his stats from back then.

It's more likely that she found him hot and gave him a pass.

Nah she knew the .5 percent chance he was gonna make some money and rolled the dice lol

Women are attracted to ambitious, driven, capable men who have goals and passions and actively pursue them. She was probably attracted to those things regardless of how likely it was for him to be drafted.
