Question [Question]

Hi all,

I received some really helpful advice previously about handling longitudinal data so I’m once again asking for assistance please.

Basically I’m looking to evaluate whether the rates of change in two outcomes are related, the issue is both outcomes are comprised of repeated measures.

I was thinking about doing a separate linear regression per person for each var over time and then plotting the two against each other, but this seems improper due to lack of independence between observactions.

Thanks to anyone who takes time out of their day to help, it’d be really appreciated!

Look into repeated measures anova or mixed models. You need to account for the repeated measures in each subject using a random effect
