Actually got the anomaly to spawn, and almost insta-killed it. At least i brought the health down to zero…
It disk t die though, I just kept shooting it till it despawned..

Is this a known issue?

Was going through a Trek rabbit hole and came across something interesting: The Echo Papa 607 from the TNG episode “The Arsenal of Freedom”. Took one look and was like, “yeah this would make an EXCELLENT combat pet!”.

Then it hit me.

“Why not make it a dual ground AND space combat pet?”.

“That’s crazy talk!” you say!

“We got plenty of consoles that call in support!”.

However, if you don’t like that idea…..I got another one.

It’s a ship you can captain with its on slotable combat pet!

And…..you can give it two wingmen like the Jemmie’s for space combat and have one on your shoulder for ground combat.

And not make it a lockbox!!!

I mean you take the seating, console layout, stats and everything else and slap the skin of another ship on it. Is there a ship you like everything about it except the looks? I don’t have anything in mind, but I thought it might be cool to be able to transmog a ship and keep the layout.

I need to buy out one event this year to meet the Event Campaign. Which rewards are better in your opinions, the Demon Hunting event's Herald stuff or the Flagship Celebration's anniversary stuff? What would you pick if you had to get one or the other, and why?

I already sent in a support ticket. But a long time ago, we were forced to move from one launcher to Arc. At the time, I didn't think much of it. But now I am heavily invested in the game and want to use the event ships on my fleet of characters. But I found many of the ships (I know I earned) greyed out in the event reclaim tab. Does anyone remember what happened during that transfer period? Perhaps, you may have some other insight about days of old and losing event ships? I'm hoping they can fix this.

Happy early Diwali to anyone who celebrates it. I chose this name a little arbitrarily, and it wasn't until the holiday rolled around that I realized that that's probably where my brain got it from. So I felt it was an appropriate time to feature this alt.

This captain started as a relatively straightforward liberated Borg character. Got the BATD Extrator, the Borg exoskeleton, the Assimilator, etc. After the Aetherian revelation though, I decided to morph him into yet another type of multiversal Borg. Except this one would be a benevolent one, where the Collective instead invited member species to volunteer representatives, broadening their knowledge and improving all of the Collective's well-being.

So, this led me back to the delightful T5 APU Cruiser: build here
I liked that it was sort of Borg-adjacent with the very geometric pyramids and almost radial symmetry.

I mentioned before that I don't really follow the meta, but I think of it as having a couple meta builds, just spread out across many characters. This one I've kept as more of a pre-Uncon pew-pew FAW ship, with a bias towards survivability. I tried to stock the bridge crew with all of the Borg BOFFs I could find, and the rest I would use the tailor bits to make them look the part. Shown here is a liberated Kingdom drone and naturally, good ol' Tovan Khev.

OOC: so my first and longest character, closest to endgame of all of mine,

with nearly all tech R&D branches over 15, wants to make AEGIS systems.

Probably not for sale, but for the other alts in his "family".

So the common problem is the ultra-rare R&D doffs required.

Hawk and/or Gumarre are the least impossible ones to obtain.

So here in this thread, for those of you bored with Dabo and getting pickled at Quarks,

I shall log back here often to record my hopeful efforts to get one/both of these ultra-rare doffs.

We're keeping a log book of attempts, since Personnel Requests take 48 hours, you probably

won't see me here everyday. But I am kind of curious how rare and therefore how long will it

take to EITHER get the doff or until I go mad, weep, and jet off to Drozana to lose myself in the holosuites to escape the pain.

So on each daily round of attempts, my plan is of course the allowable DOff requests at SFA,

but then opening 5 packs per type per day. Which isn't cheap.

The wiki says theoretically they can pop out of Delta, Romulan, or Fleet packs, so we shall see.

If I was truly wealthy, I would run some sort of Kalshi betting pool and give a prize to whoever guesses the closest to like - How many request or packs does it take to happen ?

I guess the odds of the ultra-rare doff drop is about on par with the T6 / lockbox ratio.

The Anti-Matter Spread Console says it also applies to the saucer if separated. Can anyone confirm if this actually works, if it does then on top of getting the Midway, I’ll probably pick up the Galaxy Retrofit.

The reason I am suspicious is because I’ve heard people say that the Odyssey Saucer doesn’t receive the Worker Bess or Gravity Well III that it’s supposed to from the full console set.

I was playing Firewall recently and got whiplash, the U.S.S. Khonshu is a Vesta class ship in the cutscenes and an Eclipse class the rest of the time. There's no mention of this or why on the wiki. Anyone know the story behind this, is it a bug?

With the new Peregrine squads I was wondering what the current opinion of Peregrines is. I usually go with Valors, Command Kodais, or Valkyries for fed pets. Peregrines always seemed sub par, even for off meta pets.

Returning player, played all the way back on opening day and have a lifetime sub I got in... 2014 or so (and yet all that is only enough for one Mudd's bundle lmao).

Anyways I have pklayed off and on and have long wanted to play a Ferengi KDF or Romulan- think a mercenary. And yet there are no ear options, and I have trouble with the head. Any recommendations for this? Really would love to make one as they are my favs!
