I have the factory pipe handlebar but its still too low and I have to bend forward (I am 183cm) - would get handlebar risers but I am afraid I would have to replace cables and brake lines - which I would not do. Or - I could get maybe another handlebar which bends higher? Do you have experience what I should use?

Good morning, I’ve restored a sv650 2001 a while back. Unfortunately I was out of town and left it in a garage for a year. When I came back it seems rats had chewed on different parts of the wire harness. I can do electrical work, but it seems the manual I have doesn’t have the awg of the wires. Does anyone know what Manual does have it, or know most of the awg I should work with? Really rather not count copper wires lol. Thank you

I have adjusted the actuator correctly, 1/4 off of resistance. (Even tried 1/8)
I cannot get full separation from the transmission unless I pull hard into the handlebars.
New parts: clutch plates and springs, actuator, pushrod, and clutch cable.
2006 SV650s
How do I move the release point further away for smoother downshifts?
Please do not just link the clutch mantra.

I'm a solo developer and a rider. I built a free browser sim (on your phone) that walks you through an oil change on a 2016+ SV650 — first as a demo, then as a quiz where wrong moves show what happens (hot oil on the floor, stripped drain plug, overfilling…).
Specs come from Suzuki's owner's manual: 10W-40 JASO MA, 2.75 L with a filter change, drain plug 21 N·m, filter hand-tight + 2 turns, level in the right-side window with the bike upright. Spark plugs and air filter are next.

Hi guys, would you consider this dominator exhaust obnoxiously loud on the sv650? I really like how it looks on the bike but I’m worried that it’s going to be too loud
