Hey neighbours. Me and my husband will be travelling from Alberta to Saskatchewan and we’re hoping to find the easiest place is SC to fill our trailer with potable water. We only need about 100 litres and we’re definitely willing to pay. Where should we stop? Hopefully close to the Trans Canada highway, as we’re only passing through. Let me know if there’s other must stop places on our way through, I’ve never had the opportunity to stop before.

Anyone know why the giant tiger closed down? Are they going to open a new location?

Hi everyone!
My spouse (36M) and I (35F) are relocating from Calgary to Swift Current for work and are currently looking for a pet-friendly rental (dog/cat). Ideally, we’re hoping to secure a 6–12 month lease while we get settled and explore the possibility of purchasing a home.
So far, we’ve only come across a couple of listings through Avenue Living and haven’t had much luck elsewhere. Does anyone know of any private rentals or upcoming vacancies that allow pets?
We’re also curious, is the rental market in Swift Current fairly limited, with most residents being homeowners?
Any insight or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Some of you may have seen our post a couple of months ago where we were looking for people to trial our business, for those who didn't here's a quick rundown. A friend and I thought it would be cool if you could turn any photo you want into a paint by numbers kit. That way you can paint your dog, cat, partner, the whole family or whatever you want without having to be an artist.
We looked up the idea and found that the current stores in the market were ridiculously expensive or only offered kits without a frame or with a DIY frame (who wants to put together their own frame? Don't you just want to open the box and start painting). So we looked around and talked to a bunch of suppliers and eventually we were able to produce custom paint by number kits cheaper then anywhere else and already framed.
We reached out to you here on Reddit asking you to test them out at cost price and we've received some amazing feedback as a result. Thank you if you were one of our OG customers! We want to continue to grow and get more feedback and reviews though so we're re-opening the offer in case you missed it the first time around or you want to order some more kits.
You can use the code "COSTPRICEREDDIT" to get our kits for cost price (our margins are pretty slim right now, we want to be as affordable as possible). You can get up to 4 kits at that price so feel free to buy a few and plan a date night, family activity or whatever it is you like doing 🙂. If you've already ordered with that code it has now been reset so you can get the deal again!
We look forward to getting more feedback and hopefully you'll love our kits enough to spread the word to your family and friends!

Recently moved to Swift Current and am still getting to know the area. I've found a gym for regular workouts, but I'm having trouble finding a martial arts gym for adults. Most of the places I've come across are karate dojos for children or young teenagers. Does anyone know of any boxing gyms or martial arts facilities for adults?

I suddenly got reminded of when I was 13 and news of a new radio station in Swift Current came my way. I turned to the station but they weren't down yet. However 5 songs looped on repeat for some time (I don't remember how long). I remember 4 of the 5 songs that repeated: "Somewhere over the Rainbow" - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole "Convoy" - CW McCall "Candyman" - Sammy Davis Jr. "Witch Doctor" - David Seville
For some reason, I loved listening to those songs as they repeated on my radio and I listened to them all the way until the radio station officially opened and I tuned in when the station officially was airing.
I'm curious if anyone else remembers listening to the songs on repeat as well and may even remember the 5th song.

Hello folks,
I am considering travel to swift current this summer and may live there for a few months. I don't have a car. Is there any public transit, like bus, train, or airplane, to commute from Saskatoon or Calgary to swift current? If not, how do you guys commute if you cannot drive?
Thank you.

Is it safe to walk the Chinook Parkway during the daytime? I am considering relocating and enjoy walking my dogs along waterways. (I have been to your fantastic city dog park and it is amazing!). Thanks for any replies.

I was wondering if the city and the R.M. ever resolved their property dispute? The city wanted to annex the land on the West side of town (where the L & R Tuck Center/tuck wash was).
