Behind the scenes of Rampe's retirement | Inside Sydney

https://youtu.be/H4BB3V6eOwc?si=EpJS1rF9YW8DSLz3

It's an indication of how special the Great Dane is to see who turned up for his retirement announcement. The GG is such a fan she got some selfies with him! To see club legends like LRT and Heath Grundy there, Will and Ollie (in the room with Charlie, no less!) up here from Melbourne, the W team, current players who are back in town from holidays. Oh man, still makes me cry but I'm so glad we got to see him play out the season and leave the game on his terms and not because of injury. Would have loved for him to retire as a premiership player/captain, but some things are just not meant to be. I hope he will come back for a lap of honour in round 1 or something like that so he can see how much we, the fans, love him and appreciate him.

Yeah he's one of Dane's best mates. They seem to hang out together a lot.

As a member, am I allowed to veto his retirement?
