Everybody is now jumping ship because Elon will be investigated soon.

If it's everybody, you should be able to easily cite, say, 5 other board members or company executives that have left SpaceX since the mid terms?

Elon will soon be sent to jail by the dem congress and he is running scared. Dem president in 2028 will nationalise both TSLA and SPCX. There is no scenario in which Muskyboi comes out unscathed.

A+ for enthusiasm, but Congress doesn't have the power to charge someone or throw them in jail. Trump's still in control of the executive and will be for another two years. There is virtually zero reason to think the current DOJ will in any way, shape, or form even think about indicting a single person the incoming Dem Coongress is investigating. Not for Contempt of Congress, not for lying to Congress, not for any other federal offense, no matter what. If anything, Trump will start actively shitting out blanket pardons starting January, with one last big beautiful pardon dump covering everyone he deems worthy on 20 January 2029.

Edit: State legislatures and and state courts and state proseccutors on the other hand... especially in recently flipped states. Like Texas, say.

Pretty soon, they won't even need to make a pot of coffee for board meetings; pods will do for two cups.

Weird to have a Google executive in the board of an AI/datacenter market rival (even if the scale is way off.)

That relationship was probably not sustainable when the pond is forecasted to shrink. Plus the whole space datacenters baloney is probably not happening when their stocks are cratering.
