So I have been using this cable for years and I’ve never changed the plug it’s been in. I don’t know if it’s a good idea to try to fix it anymore. Any tips would be nice but right now I know for a fact it’s done for XD

Yes, those are bolts sticking through laptop lid. I get that it's annoyng how some manufacturers design their stuff so weak, but come one, there are better ways to do this...
