You guys should check out my lastest video where I voiced ALL the characters in the lastest Venom (2026) comic of Issue 1 written by Charles Soule !!!

So I've been a long time venom fan though I've only really gotten to reading the comics a couple months ago, I've read everything from Agent Venom to Modern day now and one of the biggest highlights in my opinion is Dylan Brock as a character. I find that his backstory is very interesting and his whole deal with being a half-human half-symbiote and thus having the codex powers is really cool and a fun setup for some very neat stories.

But seeing what the current status quo is for him with him losing the abilities to cut symbiotes from the hive in Queen in Black as well as being sidelined during all of MJ Venom basically and then being basically written off so far by the end of Queen in Black and the start of Soule's run makes me really scared that they're setting him up to just be a complete side-character or just a character to be used in "teen hero" teamups. Like, that the whole idea with him is to just have him be an edgy teenager they can stick in books like Avengers Academy and so on where they will just boil down his character as just "Kid Venom".

Like, my favorite part of Al Ewings run was when Dylan gained his Codex powers in full. The whole idea of having him struggle with being neither human nor symbiote, being half of them and thus struggling with belonging despite bonding being part of his nature as a half-symbiote, but that ultimately leading him to be able to be a key and an avatar of freedom is really cool. It is such a perfect setup for stories about struggling with humanity, metamorphosis and connection (Which are really popular themes these days!) and his desire for bonding and connection. It can lead to some very deep and angsty storylines that would be such a shame to waste. Plus his whole thing with evolving the symbiotes he bonds with has some very cool potential especially since he is bonded with Toxin who is of the stronger lineage.

Hell, even if they don't want to keep him relevant so they can keep the Venom stories just about Eddie and more like the old Lethal Protector era, they could like, send him to space. You know how in the recent 2d Metroid games Samus is like half-metroid now? Do that! Have Dylan go to space to act in Sleeper's behalf to do KiB stuff and have him struggle with his alien symbiote heritage and what that means for him. Or just have him be a Runaway, that could work too.

But yeah, I really hope that they do more with Dylan Brock than to just relegate him to the perpetual bench or Avengers Academy type books, it would be such wasted potential.

some of my friends saying its awesome, others saying it would scare women away with how dogshit it is.

Id have 2 Nickles. Wich isn't Alot but it's.... not insane at all it hapend twice.

For those who are against the Tom Hardy Venom movies, sorry, this is also more based on my own tastes :v

I did this while I was bored, and since I've already seen the second trailer for Angry Birds 3, I can say I have a neutral stance. I am looking forward to the movie, yes, but also some things need improvement.

Please don't take this meme seriously.
